Hadith Beginning with the Letter Kaf (ك)

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When something alarmed him (peace and blessings be upon him), he would say: Allah, Allah is my Lord; He has no partner."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) congratulated someone who had married, he would say: May Allah bless you, send blessings upon you, and keep the two of you together in goodness."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) raised his head from bowing in the last rak'ah of the Fajr prayer, he would recite the qunut."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When his (peace and blessings be upon him) dining cloth was lifted, he would say: 'Alhamdu lillahi hamdan kathiran tayyiban mubarakan fih, alhamdu lillahil-ladhi kafana wa awana, ghayra makfiyyin wa la makfurin wa la muwadda'in wa la mustaghnan 'anhu, Rabbana' (Abundant, pure and blessed praise is for Allah; all praise is for Allah who has sufficed us and given us shelter; praise that is never enough, never denied, never abandoned, and never to be dispensed with, O our Lord)."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) bowed, he would keep his back so level that if water were poured on it, it would stay in place."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) bowed, he would spread his fingers apart, and when he prostrated, he would keep his fingers together."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) bowed, he would say three times: Subhana Rabbiyal-'Azimi wa bi-hamdih (Glory be to my Lord the Magnificent, and praise be to Him), and when he prostrated, he would say three times: Subhana Rabbiyal-A'la wa bi-hamdih (Glory be to my Lord the Most High, and praise be to Him)."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) went to stone the Jamarat, he would walk on foot, going and returning."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) stoned Jamrat al-Aqabah, he would move on and not stop there."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) asked Allah for something, he would turn the inner side of both his palms towards Him."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) prostrated, he would hold his arms so far away from his sides that the whiteness of his (peace and blessings be upon him) armpits could be seen."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) was pleased, his (peace and blessings be upon him) face would shine as though it were a piece of the moon."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) finished the prayer with the salam, he would sit only as long as it takes to say: O Allah, You are Peace and from You comes peace; Blessed are You, O Possessor of Majesty and Honour."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) heard the mu'adhdhin, he would say the same as he said, until, when he said 'Hayya 'alas-salah, hayya 'alal-falah' (Come to prayer, come to success), he (peace and blessings be upon him) would say: 'La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah' (There is no ability to avoid sin and no strength to do good except by the enabling of Allah)."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) heard the mu'adhdhin pronouncing the testimony of faith, he would say: And I too, I too bear witness."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) heard an unpleasant name, he would change it to one better than it."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) drank something, he would breathe three times and say: This is more pleasant, more wholesome and more healthful."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) ascended the pulpit, he would greet with salam."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) had prayed the Fajr prayer, the people of Madinah would come to him (peace and blessings be upon him) with their vessels containing water, and whatever vessel was brought, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would dip his hand into it."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) had prayed the Fajr prayer, he would remain sitting in his place of prayer until the sun rose."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed the Fajr prayer on a journey, he would walk a little away from his mount."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) had prayed the two sunnah rak'ahs of Fajr, he would lie down on his right side."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) performed a prayer, he would keep to it consistently."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) performed tawaf around the Ka'bah, he would touch the Black Stone and the Yemeni Corner in every circuit."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) halted to rest during the night, he would lie down with his head on his right hand, and when he halted shortly before dawn, he would place his head on the palm of his right hand and keep his forearm upright."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When a strong wind blew, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would say: O Allah, I ask You for its good, the good of what is in it and the good of that with which it has been sent, and I seek refuge in You from its evil, the evil of what is in it and the evil of that with which it has been sent."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) sneezed, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would praise Allah, and it would be said to him (peace and blessings be upon him): May Allah have mercy on you. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) would say: May Allah guide you and set your affairs right."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) sneezed, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would place his hand or his garment over his mouth and lower his voice."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) did a deed, he would keep to it consistently."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) went out on a military expedition, he would say: O Allah, You alone are my support and You alone are my helper; by Your help alone I move, by Your strength alone I attack, and for Your sake alone I fight."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) became angry, both his (peace and blessings be upon him) cheeks would turn red."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) missed the four rak'ahs before Zuhr, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would pray them after Zuhr."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) had finished burying the deceased, he would stand at his grave and say: Seek forgiveness from Allah for your brother and ask for steadfastness for him, for he is being questioned right now."

"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) stood for prayer, he would raise both his hands fully extended."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) stood on the pulpit, his (peace and blessings be upon him) Companions would turn their faces towards him (peace and blessings be upon him)."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) got up at night to pray, he would begin his prayer with two light rak'ahs."

"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) got up from sleep at night, he would clean his mouth with the tooth-stick (miswak)."

"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) returned from a journey, the children of his (peace and blessings be upon him) household would come out to receive him (peace and blessings be upon him)."

"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) recited 'Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High', he would say: 'Subhana Rabbiya al-A'la' (Glory be to my Lord, the Most High)."

"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) recited in prayer at night, he would sometimes raise his voice and sometimes lower it."
