Hadith Beginning with the Letter Kaf (ك)

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Charity is due upon every joint of a person on every day on which the sun rises. Judging justly between two people is charity; helping a man with his mount, by seating him upon it or lifting his belongings onto it, is also charity; a good word is charity; every step taken towards the prayer is charity; showing the way is charity; and removing something harmful from the path is charity."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Every drink that intoxicates is unlawful."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Every condition that is not in the Book of Allah is void, even if it be a hundred conditions."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Everything is according to divine decree, even incapacity and cleverness."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whatever part of the lower garment is below the ankles is in the Fire."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whatever is cut from a living (animal) is (in the ruling of) carrion."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Everything that is not part of the remembrance of Allah is idle amusement and play, except four things: a man playing with his wife, a man training his horse, a man walking between two targets (to practise archery), and a man learning to swim."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Every prayer in which Surah al-Fatihah is not recited is deficient."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The whole plain of Arafah is a place of standing, all the land of Mina is a place of sacrifice, the whole plain of Muzdalifah is a place of standing, and all the streets of Makkah are a way and a place of sacrifice."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The whole plain of Arafat is a place of standing, but stay above the valley of Uranah; the whole plain of Muzdalifah is a place of standing, but stay above the valley of Muhassir; all the streets of Mina are a place of sacrifice; and all the days of Tashriq are days of slaughter."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Every good deed of the son of Adam is multiplied from ten times up to seven hundred times, and even more, as much as Allah wills, except fasting. Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, says: Fasting is for Me and I Myself will reward it; he (the fasting person) leaves his desire and his food for My sake. For the fasting person there are two joys: one when he breaks his fast and the other when he meets his Lord. And the smell of the fasting person's mouth is more pleasing to Allah than the fragrance of musk."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"After a man dies, every deed of his is cut off, except the one who guards the frontier in the path of Allah; his deeds keep increasing for him until the Day of Resurrection and he continues to receive provision."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Every eye commits adultery, and when a woman applies perfume and passes by a gathering, she is an adulteress."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Every child is held in pledge for his aqiqah; (an animal) should be slaughtered on his behalf on the seventh day, his head should be shaved and he should be given a name."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Every loan given is charity."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Every division that was made in the time of ignorance (Jahiliyyah) shall remain as it was divided, and every division that Islam has reached shall be according to the division of Islam."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Every wound that a Muslim receives in the path of Allah will be on the Day of Resurrection in the same state as when it was inflicted, blood will be flowing from it; its colour will be the colour of blood, but its fragrance will be like musk."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Everything that (intoxicates a person and) makes him heedless of prayer is forbidden."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whatever you do for your family is charity (sadaqah) upon them."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"All the wealth of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is charity, except what he fed his family and clothed them with. Indeed, we (the Prophets) do not leave inheritance."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Every intoxicant is wine (khamr) and every intoxicant is forbidden. Whoever drinks an intoxicant, his prayer for forty days becomes deficient. Then if he repents, Allah accepts his repentance, and if he repeats (the same sin) a fourth time, it becomes a right upon Allah that He make him drink from Tinat al-Khabal, that is, the pus of the people of Hell. And whoever gives an intoxicant to drink to a child who does not recognise what is lawful for him from what is unlawful, it also becomes a right upon Allah that He make him drink from Tinat al-Khabal."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Every person whose lineage was attributed, after the death of his (claimed) father, to that father by his heirs: if he is from a slave woman whom the (father) owned on the day he had relations with her, then he is joined to the one who attributed him (to himself), but he has no share in the inheritance that was divided before this; as for the inheritance that has not yet been divided, he will get his share of it. And if that father, to whom his lineage is being claimed, had himself denied him, then he will not be joined. And if he is from a slave woman whom the (father) did not own, or from a free woman with whom he committed fornication, then he will neither be joined to him nor will he inherit. And even if the one to whom his lineage is being claimed had himself claimed him, he is still a child of fornication and (his lineage) is with his mother's people, whoever they are, whether she is free or a slave woman."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Every intoxicant is forbidden."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Every intoxicant is forbidden, and whoever drinks an intoxicant, it is a covenant upon Allah that He will make him drink from Tinat al-Khabal, that is, the sweat (pus) of the people of Hell."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Every intoxicant is forbidden, and of whatever a measure (faraq) intoxicates, even a handful of it is forbidden."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Every intoxicant is wine (khamr) and every intoxicant is forbidden. Whoever drinks wine in this world and dies while addicted to it without repenting, he will not drink it in the Hereafter."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Every image-maker is in the Fire. For every image he made, a soul will be created that will punish him in Hell."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Every good deed is charity."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Every good deed is charity, and the one who guides to good is like the one who does it."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Every good deed is charity, and among good deeds is that you meet your brother with a cheerful face, and that you pour water from your bucket into your neighbour's vessel."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Every good deed you do for a rich person or a poor person is charity."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Every child is born upon the fitrah (the natural disposition of Islam) until his tongue speaks clearly for him; then his parents make him a Jew, a Christian or a Magian."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Every child is born upon the (true) religion; then his parents make him a Jew or a Christian, and make him a polytheist." It was said: "Then what about the one who dies before that?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah knows best what they would have done."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"For everyone, that deed has been made easy for which he was created."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The deeds of every person who dies are sealed, except the one who dies guarding the frontier in the path of Allah; his deeds continue to grow until the Day of Resurrection, and he is kept safe from the trial of the grave."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Every woman who wails (over the dead) lies, except Umm Sa'd."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"On the Day of Resurrection every tie of lineage and of marriage will be cut off, except my lineage and my ties of marriage."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Every person among the children of Adam is a master: the man is the master of his family, and the woman is the mistress of her house."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whatever a servant (of Allah) spends, he is rewarded for it, except (what is spent on) buildings."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Every oath that is sworn by other than Allah is shirk (associating partners with Allah)."
