«كل سلامى من الناس عليه صدقة كل يوم تطلع فيه الشمس تعدل بين الاثنين صدقة وتعين الرجل على دابته فيحمل عليها أو ترفع له عليها متاعه صدقة والكلمة الطيبة صدقة وكل خطوة تخطوها إلى الصلاة صدقة ودل الطريق صدقة وتميط الأذى عن الطريق صدقة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Charity is due upon every joint of a person on every day on which the sun rises. Judging justly between two people is charity; helping a man with his mount, by seating him upon it or lifting his belongings onto it, is also charity; a good word is charity; every step taken towards the prayer is charity; showing the way is charity; and removing something harmful from the path is charity."
