Hadith Beginning with the Letter Kaf (ك)

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Arrogance is to reject the truth and to look down on people."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Applying kohl (antimony) an odd number (of times) is (Sunnah)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The noble, son of the noble, son of the noble, son of the noble: Yusuf bin Ya'qub bin Ishaq bin Ibrahim (peace be upon them)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The pure black dog is a devil."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Truffles (al-kam'ah) are from the manna that Allah Almighty sent down upon the Children of Israel, and their water is a cure for the eye."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Truffles are from the manna, and their water is a cure for the eye."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Al-Kawthar is a river in Paradise which Allah has given me. Its soil is musk; it is whiter than milk and sweeter than honey. Birds come down to it whose necks are like the necks of camels, and the one who eats them will be in greater delight than they are."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Al-Kawthar is a river in Paradise. Its two banks are of gold, it flows over pearls and rubies, its soil is more fragrant than musk, and its water is sweeter than honey and whiter than snow."

"The last words of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) were: Attend to the prayer, attend to the prayer, and fear Allah regarding the slaves (male and female) whom your right hands possess."

"The last thing he (peace and blessings be upon him) spoke was that he said: May Allah destroy the Jews and the Christians; they took the graves of their prophets as places of prostration. Beware! Two religions shall not remain in the land of the Arabs."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"The most hateful thing among creation to him (peace and blessings be upon him) was lying."

"He (peace and blessings be upon him) was white, as though he had been cast from silver, and his (peace and blessings be upon him) hair was straight."

"He (peace and blessings be upon him) was white tinged with redness, his blessed head was large — his eyelashes were thick."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"His (peace and blessings be upon him) whiteness was tinged with redness, the pupils of his eyes were black and his eyelashes were thick."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"He (peace and blessings be upon him) was white, handsome and of medium height."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"The colour most beloved to him (peace and blessings be upon him) was green."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"The garment most beloved to him (peace and blessings be upon him) was the hibarah (a striped Yemeni cloak)."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"The garment most beloved to him (peace and blessings be upon him) was the qamis (long shirt)."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"The religious (deed) most beloved to him (peace and blessings be upon him) was that which the one doing it persisted in."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"The drink most beloved to him (peace and blessings be upon him) was a sweet and cold drink."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"What he (peace and blessings be upon him) loved most was to fast in the month of Sha'ban, and then to join it with Ramadan."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"The meat on the bone most beloved to him (peace and blessings be upon him) was the foreleg of a goat."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"The deed most beloved to him (peace and blessings be upon him) was that which is done consistently, even if it is little."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When relieving himself, he (peace and blessings be upon him) most preferred to screen himself behind a mound or a cluster of date palms."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"He (peace and blessings be upon him) was the best of all people in character."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"He (peace and blessings be upon him) was the best of all people in appearance and the most handsome. He (peace and blessings be upon him) was of medium height, inclining to tall; the distance between his (peace and blessings be upon him) two shoulders was quite broad; his (peace and blessings be upon him) cheeks were smooth; his hair was deep black; his eyes looked as though lined with kohl; his eyelashes were thick; when he put his foot down, he put it down with the whole foot; the sole of his (peace and blessings be upon him) foot had no hollow. When he (peace and blessings be upon him) removed his cloak from his shoulders, it was as though he were an ingot of silver."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"He (peace and blessings be upon him) was the most handsome of people, the most generous of people and the bravest of people."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"He (peace and blessings be upon him) was the most handsome of people in face and the best of them in character; he (peace and blessings be upon him) was neither conspicuously tall nor short."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When leading others, he (peace and blessings be upon him) was the lightest of people in the prayer he led for the people, and the longest of people in the prayer he prayed for himself."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"Despite performing the prayer completely, he (peace and blessings be upon him) was the lightest of all people in prayer."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) came to the door of a people, instead of standing directly facing the door, he would stand at its right or left side and say: As-salamu alaykum, as-salamu alaykum."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) visited a sick person, or a sick person was brought to him (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace and blessings be upon him) would make this supplication: O Lord of mankind! Remove the affliction and grant cure, You are the One who cures; there is no cure except Your cure, a cure that leaves no illness behind."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When something pleasing came to him (peace and blessings be upon him), he would say: 'Al-hamdu lillahil-ladhi bi-ni'matihi tatimmus-salihat' (All praise is for Allah, by whose favour good deeds are completed), and when something displeasing came to him, he would say: 'Al-hamdu lillahi 'ala kulli hal' (All praise is for Allah in every circumstance)."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When a man came to him (peace and blessings be upon him) with a name that he (peace and blessings be upon him) did not like, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would change it."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When the fay' (spoils taken without fighting) came to him (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace and blessings be upon him) would distribute it the same day, giving the married man two shares and the unmarried man one share."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When a people brought their charity (sadaqah) to him (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace and blessings be upon him) would say: 'O Allah, send Your mercy upon the family of so-and-so.'"

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When the first fruit of the season was brought to him (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace and blessings be upon him) would place it on his eyes, then on his lips, then he would give it to whichever children were with him (peace and blessings be upon him)."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When food was brought to him (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace and blessings be upon him) would ask whether it was a gift or charity. If it was said that it was charity, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would say to his Companions: 'You eat,' and he himself would not eat. And if it was said that it was a gift, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would stretch out his hand and eat with them."

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When his (peace and blessings be upon him) family were afflicted with fever, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would order hasa' (a broth-like food) to be made; then, when it was made, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would order them to drink it, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) would say: 'It soothes the grieving heart and removes sorrow from the heart of the sick, just as one of you women removes dirt from her face with water.'"

It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) lay down on his bed, he would place his right hand under his right cheek."
