«كل مولود يولد على الملة فأبواه يهودانه وينصرانه ويشركانه قيل: فمن هلك قبل ذلك؟ قال: الله أعلم بما كانوا عاملين»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Every child is born upon the (true) religion; then his parents make him a Jew or a Christian, and make him a polytheist." It was said: "Then what about the one who dies before that?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah knows best what they would have done."
