«إن الملائكة ليقومون يوم الجمعة على أبواب المسجد معهم الصحف يكتبون الناس الأول والثاني والثالث حتى إذا خرج الإمام طويت الصحف»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, on Friday the angels stand at the doors of the mosque with scrolls in which they keep recording the people who arrive in order, first, second and third, until, when the imam comes out (for the sermon), the scrolls are rolled up."

«إن الملائكة لا تحضر الجنب ولا المضمخ بالخلوق حتى يغتسلا»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, the angels do not come near a person in a state of major ritual impurity, nor one smeared with khaluq (a perfume mixed with saffron), until they take a ritual bath (ghusl)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, the angels do not attend the funeral of a disbeliever with any good, nor do they come near one smeared with saffron or a person in a state of major ritual impurity."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, the one who spends on horses in the way of Allah (for jihad) is like a person who has stretched out his hands to give charity and does not close them."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, the dead are punished in their graves, to the extent that even the animals hear their (screaming) voices."

"إن الميت تحضره الملائكة فإذا كان الرجل صالحا قال: اخرجي أيتها النفس الطيبة كانت في الجسد الطيب اخرجي حميدة وأبشري بروح وريحان ورب غير غضبان فلا يزال يقال لها ذلك حتى تخرج ثم يعرج بها إلى السماء فيستفتح لها فيقال: من هذا؟ فيقول: فلان فيقال: مرحبا بالنفس الطيبة كانت في الجسد الطيب ادخلي حميدة وأبشري بروح وريحان ورب غير غضبان فلا يزال يقال لها ذلك حتى ينتهي بها إلى السماء التي فيها الله تبارك وتعالى; فإذا كان الرجل السوء قال اخرجي أيتها النفس الخبيثة كانت في الجسد الخبيث اخرجي ذميمة وأبشري بحميم وغساق ¤ وآخر من شكله أزواج فلا يزال يقال لها ذلك حتى تخرج ثم يعرج بها إلى السماء فيستفتح لها فيقال: من هذا؟ فيقال: فلان فيقال: لا مرحبا بالنفس الخبيثة كانت في الجسد الخبيث ارجعي ذميمة فإنها لا تفتح لك أبواب السماء فترسل من السماء ثم تصير إلى القبر; فيجلس الرجل الصالح في قبره غير فزع ولا مشعوف ثم يقال له: فيم كنت؟ فيقول: كنت في الإسلام فيقال له: ما هذا الرجل؟ فيقول: محمد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم جاءنا بالبينات من عند الله فصدقناه فيقال له: هل رأيت الله؟ فيقول: ما ينبغي لأحد أن يرى الله فيفرج له فرجة قبل النار فينظر إليها يحطم بعضها بعضا فيقال له: انظر إلى ما وقاك الله تعالى ثم يفرج له فرجة قبل الجنة فينظر إلى زهرتها وما فيها فيقال له: هذا مقعدك ويقال له: على اليقين كنت وعليه مت وعليه تبعث إن شاء الله ; ويجلس الرجل السوء في قبره فزعا مشعوفا فيقال له: فيم كنت؟ فيقول: لا أدري فيقال له: ما هذا الرجل؟ فيقول: سمعت الناس يقولون قولا فقلته! فيفرج له فرجة قبل الجنة فينظر إلى زهرتها وما فيها فيقال له: انظر إلى ما صرف الله عنك ثم يفرج له فرجة إلى النار فينظر إليها يحطم بعضها بعضا فيقال: هذا مقعدك على الشك كنت وعليه مت وعليه تبعث إن شاء الله"
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, the angels come to the dying person. If he is a righteous man, (the angel) says: 'O pure soul that was in a pure body! Come out; come out praiseworthy, and receive the glad tidings of rest, fragrant flowers (or provision), and a Lord who is not angry with you.' This continues to be said to it until it comes out; then it is taken up to the heaven. The gate is asked to be opened for it, and it is asked: 'Who is this?' The angel says: 'It is so-and-so.' It is said: 'Welcome to the pure soul that was in a pure body! Enter praiseworthy, and receive the glad tidings of rest and ease, pure provision, and a Lord who is not displeased.' This continues to be said to it until it is brought to the heaven in which Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, is. And if he is an evil man, the angel says: 'O foul soul that was in a foul body! Come out; come out in disgrace, and receive the tidings of boiling water, pus, and "other (punishments) of its kind" [Surah Sad: 58].' This continues to be said to it until it comes out; then it is taken up towards the heaven. The gate is asked to be opened for it, and it is asked: 'Who is this?' It is said: 'It is so-and-so.' Then it is said: 'No welcome to the foul soul that was in a foul body! Go back in disgrace, for the gates of heaven will not be opened for you.' So it is cast down from the heaven, and then it comes to the grave. Then the righteous man is made to sit up in his grave, neither alarmed nor terrified. Then he is asked: 'What religion were you on?' He says: 'I was upon Islam.' He is asked: 'Who is this man (Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him)?' He says: 'He is Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He came to us with clear proofs from Allah, and we believed him.' He is asked: 'Have you seen Allah?' He says: 'It is not fitting for any human being to see Allah.' Then a window is opened for him towards Hell, and he sees it, one part of it smashing (devouring) another. He is told: 'Look at that from which Allah Almighty has saved you.' Then a window is opened for him towards Paradise, and he sees its splendour and its blessings. He is told: 'This is your abode.' And he is further told: 'You were (in the world) upon certainty, upon it you died, and upon it you will be raised again, if Allah wills.' And the evil man is made to sit up in his grave, extremely alarmed and terrified. He is asked: 'What religion were you on?' He says: 'I do not know.' He is asked: 'Who is this man?' He says: 'I heard the people saying something, so I said it too!' Then a window is opened for him towards Paradise, and he sees its splendour and its blessings, and he is told: 'Look at what Allah has turned away from you (i.e. deprived you of).' Then a window is opened for him towards Hell, and he sees it, one part of it crushing another, and he is told: 'This is your abode. You were upon doubt, upon it you died, and upon it you will be raised, if Allah wills.'"

«إن الميت ليعذب ببكاء الحي»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, the deceased is punished because of the weeping of the living (i.e. their wailing and lamentation)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, the deceased is punished because of his family's weeping (wailing) over him."

«إن الميت يبعث في ثيابه التي يموت فيها»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, the deceased will be raised in the very clothes (i.e. the shroud or the martyr's garments) in which he dies."

«إن النار أدنيت مني حتى نفخت حرها عن وجهي فرأيت فيها صاحب المحجن والذي بحر البحيرة وصاحب حمير وصاحبة الهرة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, the Fire (of Hell) was brought so near to me that I blew to push its heat away from my face, and I saw in it (being punished) the man with the crooked staff, the man who slit the ear of the bahirah (she-camel, in the name of idols), the man of Himyar, and the woman of the cat."

«إن الناس إذا رأوا الظالم فلم يأخذوا على يديه أوشك أن يعمهم الله بعقاب منه»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, when people see a wrongdoer (committing wrong) and do not seize his hand (i.e. do not stop him from wrongdoing), Allah Almighty is about to send down His punishment upon them all."

«إن الناس إذا رأوا المنكر ولا يغيرونه أوشك أن يعمهم الله بعقابه»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, when people see evil and do not change it (i.e. do not stop it), Allah Almighty is about to envelop them in His punishment."

«إن الناس قد صلوا ورقدوا وإنكم لن تزالوا في صلاة ما انتظرتم الصلاة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, the people have prayed and gone to sleep, and as long as you remain waiting for the prayer, you will continue to be counted as being in prayer."

«إن الناس قد صلوا وناموا وأنتم لم تزالوا في صلاة ما انتظرتم الصلاة ولولا ضعف الضعيف وسقم السقيم لأمرت بهذه الصلاة أن تؤخر إلى شطر الليل»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, the people have prayed and gone to sleep, while you remain in prayer as long as you are waiting for the prayer. Were it not for the weakness of the weak and the sickness of the sick, I would have ordered that this (Isha) prayer be delayed until half the night."

«إن الناس لم يعطوا شيئا خيرا من خلق حسن»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, people have not been given anything better than good character."

«إن الناس يصيرون يوم القيامة جثا كل أمة تتبع نبيها يقولون: يا فلان اشفع يا فلان اشفع حتى تنتهي الشفاعة إلى محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم فذلك يوم يبعثه الله المقام المحمود»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, on the Day of Resurrection people will be fallen on their knees; every nation will follow its prophet, saying: 'O so-and-so, intercede! O so-and-so, intercede!' until the matter of intercession reaches Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). That will be the day on which Allah Almighty will raise him (peace and blessings be upon him) to the Praised Station (al-Maqam al-Mahmud)."

«إن الناس يهاجرون إليكم ولا تهاجرون إليهم والذي نفسي بيده لا يحب الأنصار رجل حتى يلقى الله إلا لقي الله وهو يحبه ولا يبغض الأنصار رجل حتى يلقى الله إلا لقي الله وهو يبغضه»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, people will migrate to you, and you will not migrate to them. By the One in whose hand is my soul! No man loves the Ansar until he meets Allah except that he will meet Allah while Allah loves him, and no man hates the Ansar until he meets Allah except that he will meet Allah while Allah is displeased with him."

«إن النذر لا يقدم شيئا ولا يؤخر وإنما يستخرج به من البخيل»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, making a vow neither brings anything forward nor puts it back (i.e. it cannot change destiny); it is only a means by which something (of wealth) is extracted from the miser."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, a vow does not bring near to the son of Adam anything that Allah Almighty has not decreed for him; rather, the vow coincides with the decree, and through it something comes out of the miser that the miser did not want to give out."

«إن النذر نذران فما كان لله فكفارته الوفاء به وما كان للشيطان فلا وفاء له وعليه كفارة يمين»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, vows are of two kinds: the vow made for Allah, its expiation is to fulfil it; and the vow made for Satan (i.e. for a sin) may not be fulfilled, and the expiation of an oath is binding upon him."

«إن النساء شقائق الرجال»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, women are the counterparts (and likes) of men."

«إن النطفة تقع في الرحم أربعين ليلة ثم يتسور عليها الملك الذي يخلقها فيقول: يا رب أذكر أو أنثى؟ فيجعله الله ذكرا أو أنثى ثم يقول: يا رب أسوي أو غير سوي؟ فيجعله الله سويا أو غير سوي ثم يقول: يا رب ما رزقه؟ ما أجله؟ ما خلقه؟ ثم يجعله الله شقيا أو سعيدا»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, the drop of fluid remains in the womb for forty days; then the angel who is appointed over its creation descends upon it and says: 'O my Lord, will it be male or female?' So Allah makes it male or female. Then he says: 'O my Lord, will it be sound or defective?' So Allah makes it complete or defective. Then he asks: 'O my Lord, how much is its provision? How long is its lifespan? What will its character be like?' Then Allah records it as wretched or blessed."

«إن النفس المخلوقة لكائنة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, the soul whose creation has been decreed will certainly come into being."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, plundered property is no more lawful than carrion (i.e. it is forbidden just like carrion)."

"Indeed, al-Wasilah is a rank with Allah Almighty above which there is no rank, so ask Allah Almighty to grant it to me, above all creation, on the Day of Resurrection."

«إن الولد مبخلة مجبنة»

"Indeed, children are a cause of miserliness and cowardice."

"Indeed, children are a cause of making a person miserly, cowardly, ignorant and sorrowful."

«إن الهجرة لا تنقطع ما دام الجهاد»

"Indeed, migration (hijrah) will not come to an end as long as jihad continues."

"Indeed, the two hands prostrate just as the face prostrates, so when one of you places his face (on the ground), let him place his hands as well, and when he raises his face, let him raise them too."

"Indeed, today is the day of Ashura. So whoever has eaten something should not eat anything for the rest of the day, and whoever has not eaten or drunk anything should complete the fast."

"Indeed, when one of the Jews greets you, he actually says 'As-samu 'alaykum' (death be upon you), so (in reply) say only 'Wa 'alaykum' (and upon you too)."
