«إن النذر لا يقرب من ابن آدم شيئا لم يكن الله تعالى قدره له ولكن النذر يوافق القدر فيخرج ذلك من البخيل ما لم يكن البخيل يريد أن يخرج»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, a vow does not bring near to the son of Adam anything that Allah Almighty has not decreed for him; rather, the vow coincides with the decree, and through it something comes out of the miser that the miser did not want to give out."
