Hadith Beginning with the Letter Mim (م)

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever removes something harmful from the path of the Muslims, a good deed is recorded for him; and whoever has a good deed accepted from him will enter Paradise."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever among the rulers commands you to commit a sin, do not obey him."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever keeps a dog, one qirat is deducted from his deeds every day, except for a dog for farming or a dog for livestock."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever leads people in prayer and performs the prayer at its proper time and completes it, the reward is for him and for them; and whoever falls short in any of that, the burden of it is upon him and not upon them."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever leads a people in prayer while they dislike him, his prayer does not rise above his collarbone."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever grants a man safety for his life and then kills him, I am free of the killer, even if the one killed was a disbeliever."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever attributes himself to someone other than his father, or takes as patrons others than his own masters, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels and all the people."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever engages in plunder is not one of us."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever grants respite to a debtor in hardship, or waives his debt, Allah will shade him in His shade on the day when there is no shade but His shade."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever grants respite to a debtor in hardship, or waives his debt, Allah will shade him on the Day of Resurrection beneath the shade of His Throne, on the day when there is no shade but His shade."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever grants respite to a debtor in hardship, then for every day before the debt falls due he receives the like of it as charity; and when the debt falls due and he still grants him respite, then for every day he receives twice as much as charity."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever spends a pair (two of something) in the way of Allah will be called from the gates of Paradise: 'O servant of Allah, this is good.' So whoever is among the people of prayer will be called from the gate of prayer; whoever is among the people of jihad will be called from the gate of jihad; whoever is among the people of fasting will be called from the gate of al-Rayyan; and whoever is among the people of charity will be called from the gate of charity. Abu Bakr said: 'Will anyone be called from all of those gates?' He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Yes, and I hope that you will be among them.'"

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever spends something in the way of Allah, it is recorded for him seven hundred times over."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever dishonours the authority of Allah on earth, Allah will dishonour him."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever dishonours Quraysh, Allah will dishonour him."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever spends the night on the roof of a house that has no protective wall, the protection of Allah is lifted from him."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever goes to sleep with the smell of grease on his hand and is then afflicted with a skin disease, let him blame no one but himself."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever goes to sleep with grease on his hand and is then afflicted with some harm, let him blame no one but himself."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever makes two sales in one sale, he is entitled to the lower price of the two, or else it is usury (riba)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever sells fruit and it is then struck by a calamity should not take anything from his brother's wealth. On what basis would any of you consume the wealth of his Muslim brother?!"

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever sells the hide of his sacrificial animal, his sacrifice does not count."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever sells a house and then does not put its price into something similar, it will not be blessed for him."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever among you sells a house or property, let him know that it is wealth that is very likely not to be blessed for him, unless he puts it into something similar."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever is first to give the greeting of salam is the closer to Allah and His Messenger."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever begins speaking before giving the greeting of salam, do not answer him."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever settles in the desert becomes harsh."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever settles in the desert becomes harsh; whoever keeps chasing game becomes heedless; and whoever keeps going to the doors of rulers falls into trial."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever changes his religion, kill him."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever shoots an arrow in the way of Allah and it reaches its target, it will be a rank for him in Paradise."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah builds for him a house in Paradise."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, even if it is as small as a sandgrouse's nest or smaller, Allah builds for him a house in Paradise."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, even if it is as small as the nest a sandgrouse makes for its eggs, Allah builds for him a house in Paradise."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever builds for Allah a mosque in which Allah is remembered, Allah builds for him the like of it in Paradise."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever builds a mosque seeking thereby the pleasure of Allah, Allah builds for him the like of it in Paradise."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever repents to Allah before the death rattle, Allah accepts his repentance."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever repents before the sun rises from the west, Allah accepts his repentance."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever follows a funeral until the prayer is offered over it receives one qirat of reward, and whoever walks with the funeral until it is buried receives two qirats of reward, and one qirat is equal to Mount Uhud."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever follows a funeral until the prayer is offered over it and it is finished with receives two qirats, and whoever follows it until the prayer is offered over it receives one qirat. By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), it will be heavier in his scale than Mount Uhud."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever follows a funeral until it is finished with receives two qirats, and if he returns before it is finished with, he receives one qirat."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever follows a funeral, prays over it and then leaves receives one qirat of reward; and whoever follows it, prays over it, then remains seated until it and its burial are finished receives two qirats of reward, each of which is greater than Mount Uhud."
