«ما أظن فلانا وفلانا يعرفان من ديننا شيئا»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I do not think that so-and-so and so-and-so know anything of our religion."

"Allah has made the Fire forbidden for any servant whose feet become dusty in the path of Allah."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"A house in which there is vinegar is not without a condiment."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whenever a man declares another man a disbeliever, it returns to one of the two of them."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

"The world, in comparison with the Hereafter, is only like one of you going to the sea and putting his finger into it; then whatever comes out clinging to that finger, that is the world."

«ما العمل في أيام أفضل منه في عشر ذي الحجة ولا الجهاد في سبيل الله إلا رجل خرج يخاطر بنفسه وماله فلم يرجع من ذلك بشيء»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"No deed done on any days is more excellent than the deed done in the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, nor is jihad in the path of Allah more excellent than it, except for a man who goes out risking his life and his wealth and does not come back with any of it."

«ما المسئول عنها - يعني الساعة - بأعلم من السائل وسأخبرك عن أشراطها إذا ولدت الأمة ربتها فذلك من أشراطها وإذا كانت العراة الحفاة رءوس الناس فذاك من أشراطها وإذا تطأول رعاء البهم في البنيان فذاك من أشراطها في خمس من الغيب لا يعلمهن إلا الله: {إِنَّ اللَّهَ عِنْدَهُ عِلْمُ السَّاعَةِ} الآية»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The one being asked about the Hour does not know more than the one asking, but I will tell you its signs: when a slave woman gives birth to her mistress, that is one of its signs; when the barefoot and naked become the leaders of the people, that is one of its signs; and when the herders of goats compete with one another in constructing tall buildings, that is one of its signs. The knowledge of the Hour is among five things of the unseen which no one knows except Allah: 'Indeed, with Allah alone is the knowledge of the Hour.'"

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whatever I command you to do, adopt it, and whatever I forbid you from, refrain from it."

"Eat the game that it holds back for you."

«ما أنا حملتكم ولكن الله حملكم وإني والله إن شاء الله لا أحلف على يمين فأرى غيرها خيرا منها إلا كفرت عن يميني وأتيت الذي هو خير»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"It was not I who gave you mounts to ride; rather, it was Allah who gave you mounts. And by Allah, if Allah wills, whenever I swear an oath and then see something else better than it, I make expiation for my oath and do that which is better."

"What have I to do with the world, and what have I to do with garments decorated with patterns?"

"You do not hear what I am saying any better than they do, except that they are unable to give me any reply."

"Allah has not sent down any disease without also sending down its remedy with it."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Allah has not sent down in the Torah or in the Gospel anything like Umm al-Qur'an (the Mother of the Qur'an); it is al-Sab' al-Mathani (the seven oft-repeated verses), it is divided between Me and My servant, and My servant shall have what he has asked for."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Allah has not sent down any blessing from the sky without a group of people becoming disbelievers in it. Allah sends down rain, and they say: 'It rained because of such-and-such a star.'"

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Allah does not bestow any blessing upon a servant, and he then praises Allah for it, except that this praise is more excellent than that blessing."

"Allah Almighty does not bestow any blessing upon a servant, and he says: 'Alhamdu lillah' (All praise is for Allah), except that what he has given is more excellent than what he has received."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whatever your heart finds objectionable, leave it."

«ما أنهر الدم وذكر اسم الله عليه فكلوه ليس السن والظفر وسأحدثكم عن ذلك أما السن فعظم وأما الظفر فمدى الحبشة»

"Whatever instrument makes the blood flow, and the name of Allah has been mentioned over it, eat it, except for the tooth and the nail, and I will tell you the reason for that: as for the tooth, it is a bone, and as for the nail, it is the knife of the Abyssinians."

"No one has been made to suffer as much harm as I have been made to suffer."

«ما أوذي أحد ما أو ذيت في الله»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"No one has been made to suffer as much harm in the path of Allah as I have been made to suffer."

«ما أهل مهل قط ولا كبر مكبر قط إلا بشر بالجنة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Never does anyone call out the Talbiyah, nor does anyone proclaim the Takbir, except that he is given glad tidings of Paradise."

«ما بال أحدكم يقوم مستقبل ربه فيتنخع أمامه؟! أيحب أن يستقبل فيتنخع في وجهه؟ فإن تنخع أحدكم فليتنخع عن يساره أو تحت قدمه فإن لم يجد فليقل هكذا» - يعني في ثوبه -

"What is the matter with one of you, that he stands facing his Lord and then spits in front of Him?! Would he like someone to stand facing him and spit in his face? So when one of you wishes to spit, let him spit to his left or beneath his foot, and if he cannot find even that, then let him do like this (that is, in his garment)."

«ما بال أقوام جأوز بهم القتل اليوم حتى قتلوا الذرية؟ ألا إن خياركم أبناء المشركين ألا لا تقتلوا ذرية ألا لا تقتلوا ذرية كل نسمة تولد على الفطرة فما يزال عليها حتى يعرب عنها لسانها فأبواها يهودانها أو ينصرانها»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"What is the matter with some people that today they went beyond all limits in killing, until they even killed the children? Beware! The best among you are the children of the polytheists. Listen! Do not kill children. Listen! Do not kill children. Every child is born upon the fitrah (natural disposition) and remains upon it until its tongue begins to express itself; then its parents make it a Jew or a Christian."

"What is the matter with some people that they say such-and-such? Yet I pray and I also sleep, I fast and I also break my fast, and I also marry women. So whoever turns away from my way is not of me."

"What is the matter with some people that they keep away from something that I do?! By Allah, I am the one among them who knows Allah best and fears Him most."

«ما بال أقوام يرفعون أبصارهم إلى السماء في صلاتهم؟! لينتهن عن ذلك أو لتخطفن أبصارهم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"What is the matter with some people that they raise their eyes towards the sky during their prayer?! They must certainly stop doing that, or else their eyesight will be snatched away."

"ما بال الذين يرمون بأيديهم في الصلاة كأنها أذناب الخيل الشمس؟ ألا يكفي أحدكم أن يضع يده على فخذه ويسلم عن يمينه وشماله؟ "
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"What is the matter with those who move their hands about in prayer as though they were the tails of restive horses? Is it not sufficient for one of you to place his hand on his thigh and give the salam to his right and his left?"

«ما بال رجال يواصلون؟! إنكم لستم مثلي أما والله لومد لي الشهر لواصلت وصالا يدع المتعمقون تعمقهم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"What is the matter with some men that they practise wisal (continuous fasting without breaking the fast)?! You are not like me. Listen! By Allah, if the month were prolonged for me, I would practise such wisal that those who go to extremes would abandon their extremism."

«ما بعث الله من نبي إلا أنذر أمته الدجال أنذره نوح والنبيون من بعده وإنه يخرج فيكم فما خفي عليكم من شأنه فليس يخفى عليكم أن ربكم ليس بأعور وإنه أعور العين اليمنى كأن عينه عنبة طافية ألا إن الله حرم عليكم دماءكم وأموالكم كحرمة يومكم هذا في بلدكم هذا في شهركم هذا ألا هل بلغت: اللهم اشهد ثلاثا ويحكم! انظروا لا ترجعوا بعدي كفارا يضرب بعضكم رقاب بعض»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Allah did not send any prophet except that he warned his nation about the Dajjal. Nuh and all the prophets after him warned about him. He will certainly emerge among you, and whatever of his affair may remain hidden from you, it will not be hidden from you that your Lord is not one-eyed, whereas the Dajjal will be blind in the right eye, as though his eye were a protruding grape. Listen! Allah has made your blood and your wealth sacred to you just like the sanctity of this day of yours, in this city of yours, in this month of yours. Beware! Have I conveyed the message? O Allah, be witness (he said this three times). Woe to you! Look, do not become disbelievers after me, striking the necks of one another."

"Allah did not send any prophet except that he warned his nation about the one-eyed, lying Dajjal. Listen! He is one-eyed, and your Lord is not one-eyed. Between his two eyes will be written 'Kafir' (disbeliever), which every believer will read."
