«ما أنزل الله في التوراة ولا في الإنجيل مثل أم القرآن وهي السبع المثاني وهي مقسومة بيني وبين عبدي ولعبدي ما سأل»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Allah has not sent down in the Torah or in the Gospel anything like Umm al-Qur'an (the Mother of the Qur'an); it is al-Sab' al-Mathani (the seven oft-repeated verses), it is divided between Me and My servant, and My servant shall have what he has asked for."
