«من تبع جنازة فصلى عليها ثم انصرف فله قيراط من الأجر ومن تبعها فصلى عليها ثم قعد حتى فرغ منها ومن دفنها فله قيراطان من الأجر كل واحد منهما أعظم من أحد»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever follows a funeral, prays over it and then leaves receives one qirat of reward; and whoever follows it, prays over it, then remains seated until it and its burial are finished receives two qirats of reward, each of which is greater than Mount Uhud."
