«أنهاكم عن صيام يومين: الفطر والأضحى»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I forbid you from fasting on two days: Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Satirize the polytheists (compose verses condemning them), for indeed the Holy Spirit (that is, Jibril (peace be upon him)) is with you." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said this to Sayyiduna Hassan (may Allah be pleased with him).

"The person of Paradise is the one whose ears Allah Almighty fills with the good reputation and praise that people speak of him while he is listening, and the person of Hell is the one whose ears Allah Almighty fills with the evil that people speak of him while he is listening."

«أهل القرآن أهل الله وخاصته»

"The people of the Qur'an (that is, those who recite it and act upon it) are the people of Allah and His special, close servants."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The lowest degree of usury (riba) is like a man (Allah forbid) committing fornication with his own mother, and the greatest usury is a person's unjust attack with his tongue upon the honor and dignity of his Muslim brother."

«أهون أهل النار عذابا أبو طالب وهو منتعل بنعلين من نار يغلي منهما دماغه»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The one with the lightest punishment among the people of Hell will be Abu Talib; he will be made to wear two shoes of fire, from the heat of which his brain will boil."

"On the Day of Resurrection, the one with the lightest punishment among the people of Hell will be a man under the soles of whose feet two embers of fire will be placed, from the heat of which his brain will boil (like a cooking pot)."

«أوأملك لك أن نزع الله من قلبك الرحمة» .؟

"If Allah Almighty has removed mercy from your heart, do I have any power over that?"

«أوإنكم تفعلون ذلك؟ لا عليكم أن لا تفعلوا ذلك فإنها ليست نسمة كتب الله أن تخرج إلا هي خارجة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Do you really do that ('azl, coitus interruptus)? There is no harm upon you if you do not do it, for any soul that Allah Almighty has decreed to come into being will certainly come into being."

«أوتروا قبل الفجر»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Pray the Witr before (the time of) Fajr (begins)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The firmest handhold (that is, bond) of faith is to be someone's ally for the sake of Allah, to hold enmity towards someone for the sake of Allah, to love for the sake of Allah, and to hate for the sake of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic."

«أوجب طلحة حين صنع برسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ما صنع»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Talhah made (Paradise) obligatory (for himself) when he did for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) the kindness that he did (that is, during the Battle of Uhud he became a shield to save the life of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him))."

«أوصيك أن تستحي من الله تعالى كما تستحي من الرجل الصالح من قومك»

"I advise you to feel shy before Allah Almighty just as you feel shy before a righteous man of your people."

"I advise you to have taqwa (mindfulness) of Allah Almighty, for it is the foundation of everything; hold fast to jihad, for it is the monasticism of Islam; and hold fast to the remembrance of Allah Almighty and the recitation of the Qur'an, for it is your repose in the heavens and the cause of your mention on earth."

"I advise you to fear Allah Almighty in all your affairs, hidden and open; when you commit an evil deed, then (immediately) do a good deed; never ask anyone for anything; do not take anyone's trust into your keeping; and do not judge between two people."

"I advise you to fear Allah Almighty and to say the takbir (Allahu Akbar) upon every elevated place."

"أوصيكم بأصحابي ثم الذين يلونهم ثم يفشو الكذب حتى يحلف الرجل ولا يستحلف ويشهد الشاهد ولا يستشهد ألا لا يخلون رجل بامرأة إلا كان ثالثهما الشيطان عليكم بالجماعة وإياكم والفرقة فإن الشيطان مع الواحد وهو مع الاثنين ¤ أبعد من أراد بحبوحة الجنة فليلزم الجماعة من سرته حسنته وساءته سيئته فذلكم المؤمن"

"I advise you concerning (the rights of) my Companions, then those who will come after them; then lying will spread, until a man will swear an oath without being asked to swear, and a witness will testify without being asked to testify. Beware! Let no man ever be alone with a (non-mahram) woman, for the third of them is Satan. It is obligatory upon you to hold fast to the Jama'ah (the united body of the Muslims), and beware of division, for Satan is with the one who is alone and he stays farther away from two. So whoever desires the best, central part of Paradise, let him hold fast to the Jama'ah. Whoever is pleased by his good deed and grieved by his bad deed, that is the complete believer."

«أوصيكم بالأنصار فإنهم كرشي وعيبتي وقد قضوا الذي عليهم وبقي الذي لهم فاقبلوا من محسنهم وتجاوزوا عن مسيئهم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I enjoin you regarding the Ansar, for they are my confidants and my special people. They have fulfilled the responsibility that was upon them, and now what is due to them remains. So accept good from the righteous among them and overlook the wrongdoers among them."

«أوصيكم بتقوى الله والسمع والطاعة وإن أمر عليكم عبد حبشي فإنه من يعش منكم بعدي فسيري اختلافا كثيرا فعليكم بسنتي وسنة الخلفاء المهديين الراشدين تمسكوا بها وعضوا عليها بالنواجذ وإياكم ومحدثات الأمور فإن كل محدثة بدعة وكل بدعة ضلالة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I enjoin you to have taqwa (mindfulness) of Allah Almighty and to listen and obey (the ruler), even if an Abyssinian slave is made ruler over you. For whoever among you lives after me will see much disagreement, so hold to my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the rightly guided Caliphs, who are guided by Allah. Hold fast to it and bite onto it with your molars, and beware of newly invented matters (innovations) in the religion, for every new matter is an innovation and every innovation is misguidance."

"Fulfil your vow; however, it is not permissible to fulfil any vow that involves disobedience to Allah Almighty, nor is it valid to vow something that the son of Adam does not own."

«أوفي شك أنت يا ابن الخطاب؟! أولئك قوم عجلت لهم طيباتهم في الحياة الدنيا»

"O son of al-Khattab! Do you have any doubt?! These are people whose good things have been hastened for them in the life of this world."

«أوكلما نفرنا في سبيل الله تخلف أحدهم له نبيب كنبيب التيس منح إحداهن الكثبة من اللبن؟! والله لا أقدر على أحدهم إلا نكلت به»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Is it so that whenever we set out in the path of Allah (for jihad), one of them (the hypocrites) stays behind, making sounds like a billy goat (giving way to lust), and leads one of them (the women) astray by giving her a little milk?! By Allah! If I get hold of any one of them, I will certainly make an exemplary punishment of him."
