«أوفوا بحلف الجاهلية فإن الإسلام لم يزده إلا شدة ولا تحدثوا حلفا في الإسلام»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Fulfil the alliances of the Days of Ignorance, for Islam has only added to their firmness; but do not create new (such) alliances (pacts) in Islam."
