Hadith Beginning with the Letter Alif (أ)

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty, His angels, and even the ants in their holes and the fish in the sea send blessings upon the one who teaches people goodness."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty and His angels send mercy upon those in the first row."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty and His angels send mercy upon those in the first row. Straighten your rows, align your shoulders, be gentle in the hands of your brothers, and fill the gaps, for Satan enters between you like small black lambs."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty and His angels send mercy upon those in the front row. The mu'adhdhin is forgiven (by its blessing) as far as his voice reaches, and every moist and dry thing that hears his voice affirms him, and he (the mu'adhdhin) receives a reward equal to the reward of all those who pray with him."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty and His angels send mercy upon those in the front rows."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty and His angels send mercy upon those who join the rows, and whoever fills a gap in the row, Allah Almighty raises him a degree in return for it."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty and His angels send mercy upon those who eat suhur."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty alone is al-Hakam (the Judge), and to Him belongs the judgement (the authority to decide)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty alone is the Creator, the One who restricts, the One who expands, the Provider, and the One who sets prices. And I hope to meet Allah Almighty in a state where none of you has any claim against me for a wrong done to him in life or property."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty alone is al-Salam (the Giver of peace). So when one of you sits in the prayer, let him say: 'At-tahiyyatu lillahi was-salawatu wat-tayyibat, as-salamu 'alayka ayyuhan-nabiyyu wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh, as-salamu 'alayna wa 'ala 'ibadillahis-salihin' (All verbal, physical and financial worship belongs to Allah; peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings; peace be upon us and upon all the righteous servants of Allah). For when you say this, it reaches every righteous servant of Allah in the heavens and the earth. Then let him say: 'Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah, wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa rasuluh' (I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is His servant and Messenger). Then, after that, let him ask for whatever supplication he wishes."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty will never gather my Ummah upon misguidance, and the Hand of Allah (that is, His help) is over the community."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty does not love disobedience to parents."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty does not love anyone who is shameless and given to obscene speech."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty is not pleased, for His believing servant, when He takes away someone dear to him (a beloved person) from among the people of the earth and he bears it with patience and hopes for reward, to give him any reward less than Paradise."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty is not shy of stating the truth: do not approach women in their back passages (the anus)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty does not wrong a believer even a single good deed; he is given its reward in this world and will also be rewarded for it in the Hereafter. As for the disbeliever, he is fed in this world in return for his good deeds, until, when he reaches the Hereafter, he will have no good deed left for which he could be given any good."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty will not take away knowledge by snatching it from (the hearts of) His servants; rather, He will take away knowledge by taking away the scholars (through death), until, when no scholar remains, people will take ignorant men as their leaders. They will then be asked questions and will give rulings without knowledge, so they will go astray themselves and lead others astray."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty does not accept any prayer without purification (purity), nor does He accept any charity from wealth gained through misappropriation."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty does not accept any deed except that which is purely for Him and through which only His pleasure is sought."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty does not sanctify a nation in which the weak person cannot take his right from the strong without any fear or hesitation."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty does not sanctify a nation that does not give its weak their right."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty does not grow weary (of giving reward) until you grow weary (of doing deeds)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty does not sleep, nor is it befitting for Him to sleep. He lowers the scale (of justice or provision) and raises it. The deeds of the night are raised up to Him before the deeds of the day, and the deeds of the day before the deeds of the night. His veil is light. If He were to remove it, the splendours of His Face would burn everything of His creation as far as His sight reaches."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty will not snatch knowledge away from you after having given it to you; rather, He will take the scholars along with their knowledge (cause them to die), and ignorant people will remain. They will then be asked questions and will give rulings, so they will go astray themselves and lead others astray."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty does not look at your forms and your wealth; rather, He looks at your hearts and your deeds."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty does not look (with the gaze of mercy) at the one who (out of arrogance) lets his lower garment hang below his ankles."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty does not look (with the gaze of mercy) at the one who drags his lower garment (or clothing) on the ground out of pride and arrogance."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty supports Hassan (bin Thabit, may Allah be pleased with him) through Jibril the Trustworthy (the Holy Spirit) for as long as he defends the Messenger of Allah."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty supports this religion even through people who have no share (in the Hereafter)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty boasts of the people of Arafat before the inhabitants of the heavens (the angels), and says to them: Look at these servants of Mine; they have come to Me dishevelled and covered in dust."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty, on the evening of the Day of Arafah, boasts before His angels about the people of Arafat, and says: Look at these servants of Mine; they have come to Me dishevelled and covered in dust."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty tests a servant in what He has given him. If he is content with what Allah has apportioned for him, he is blessed in it and it is made ample for him; and if he is not content, he is not blessed in it, and he is given nothing more than what was decreed for him."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty afflicts His believing servant with illness until it becomes an expiation for all his sins."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty stretches out His Hand at night so that the one who sinned during the day may repent, and He stretches out His Hand during the day so that the one who sinned at night may repent, (and this will continue) until the sun rises from the west."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, on the Day of Resurrection Allah Almighty will raise the days in their original form, and He will raise Friday for its people in a radiant and shining form. They will gather around it (Friday) just as a bride is escorted to her noble groom. It will give light for them and they will walk in its light. Their colours will be white like snow, and their fragrance will spread like musk. They will be walking through mountains of camphor. The jinn and mankind will be watching them in amazement, unable to lower their gaze, until they enter Paradise. No one else will be mixed in with them except the muezzins who used to call the adhan seeking reward."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty will send a wind from the direction of Yemen, softer than silk, and it will not leave anyone who has even a grain's weight of faith in his heart without taking his soul."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty will send for this Ummah, at the head of every hundred years, someone (or a group) who will renew its religion for it."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty detests those eloquent (glib-tongued) men who (out of affectation and artificiality in speech) twist their tongues around just as a cow twists its tongue (while eating fodder)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty detests the one who begs importunately (with persistence)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty detests the one who is shameless and given to obscene speech."
