"إن لم تجدوا إلا مرابض الغنم وأعطان الإبل ¤ فصلوا في مرابض الغنم ولا تصلوا في أعطان الإبل فإنها خلقت من الشياطين"
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"If you find no other place (for prayer) except sheep pens and the resting places of camels, then pray in the sheep pens, but do not pray in the camel enclosures, for they were created from devils (that is, they share their traits)."

«إن لم تجدي له شيئا تعطينه إياه إلا ظلفا محرقا فادفعيه إليه في يده»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"If you find nothing to give the beggar except a burnt hoof, then place that in his hand."

«إن نزلتم بقوم فأمروا لكم بما ينبغي للضيف فاقبلوا فإن لم يفعلوا فخذوا منهم حق الضيف الذي ينبغي لهم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"If you stay as guests with a people and they provide for you all that is fitting for a guest, then accept it. But if they do not do so, then take from them the right of the guest that is due from them."

«إن وجدتم غير آنيتهم - يعني أهل الكتاب - فلا تأكلوا فيها وإن لم تجدوا فاغسلوها وكلوا فيها»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"If you find vessels other than theirs (that is, the People of the Book), then do not eat from theirs. And if you do not find (any other vessels), then wash them well and then eat from them."

«إن يعش هذا الغلام فعسى أن لا يبلغ الهرم حتى تقوم الساعة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"If this boy lives, it may be that he will not reach old age before the Hour (that is, the time of your death) is established."
"If this boy lives, it may be that he will not reach old age before the Hour (that is, the time of your death) is established."
«إن يكن هو فلن تسلط عليه وإن لم يكن هو فلا خير لك في قتله»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"If he is the one (that is, the Dajjal), you will never be able to overpower him (for killing him is the task of Isa, peace be upon him), and if he is not the one, then there is no good for you in killing him."
"If he is the one (that is, the Dajjal), you will never be able to overpower him (for killing him is the task of Isa, peace be upon him), and if he is not the one, then there is no good for you in killing him."
"إن يمنح أحدكم أخاه خير له من أن يأخذ عليه ¤ خرجا معلوما"
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"If one of you gives his (Muslim) brother his land (for cultivation) free of charge, that is better for him than taking a fixed payment (rent) from him for it."

«أنا ابن العواتك من سليم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I am the son of the Awatik (that is, the women named Atikah) of the tribe of Banu Sulaym."

«أنا أبوالقاسم الله يعطي وأنا أقسم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I am Abu al-Qasim. It is Allah who (truly) gives, while I am merely the one who distributes."

«أنا أتقاكم لله وأعلمكم بحدود الله»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I am the one among you who fears Allah the most and who knows the limits set by Allah best."

«إناء كإناء وطعام كطعام»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"A vessel for a vessel, and food for food."

«أنا أكثر الأنبياء تبعا يوم القيامة وأنا أول من يقرع باب الجنة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"On the Day of Resurrection, I will have the most followers of all the Prophets, and I will be the first to knock at the gate of Paradise."

«أنا النبي لا كذب أنا ابن عبد المطلب»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I am the Prophet, there is no lie in this; I am the son of Abd al-Muttalib."

«أنا أولى الناس بعيسى بن مريم في الدنيا والآخرة ليس بيني وبينه نبي والأنبياء أولاد علات أمهاتهم شتى ودينهم واحد»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I am the closest of all people to Isa bin Maryam (peace be upon them both) in this world and the Hereafter; no other Prophet came between me and him. All the Prophets are paternal half-brothers (that is, the children of one father and different mothers); their mothers (their laws) are different, while their religion (Tawhid) is one and the same."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I am closer to the believers according to the Book of Allah. So whoever among you dies leaving a debt or weak and helpless dependants, let them call me, for I am his guardian. And whoever dies leaving wealth, let his wealth be given to his paternal heirs (asabah), whoever they may be."

«أنا أولى بالمؤمنين من أنفسهم فمن توفي من المؤمنين فترك دينا فعلي قضاؤه ومن ترك مالا فهو لورثته»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I am closer to the believers than their own selves. So whoever among the believers passes away and leaves a debt owing, its payment is my responsibility; and whoever leaves wealth, it is the right of his heirs."

«أنا أولى بكل مؤمن من نفسه فمن ترك دينا أو ضيعة فإلي ومن ترك مالا فلورثته وأنا مولى من لا مولى له أرث ماله وأفك عانيه والخال مولى من لا مولى له يرث ماله ويعقل عنه»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I am closer to every believer than his own self. So whoever leaves a debt or weak dependants, their responsibility is upon me; and whoever leaves wealth, it is the right of his heirs. And I am the heir (guardian) of the one who has no heir: I will inherit his wealth and pay the ransom of his captive. And the maternal uncle is the heir of the one who has no heir: he inherits his wealth and pays the blood money (diyah) on his behalf."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I will be the first to intercede in the matter of Paradise, and I am the one with the most followers of all the Prophets."

«أنا أول شفيع في الجنة لم يصدق نبي من الأنبياء ما صدقت وإن من الأنبياء نبيا ما يصدقه من أمته إلا رجل واحد»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I am the first intercessor for Paradise. No Prophet has been believed as much as I have been believed; and indeed, among the Prophets there was a Prophet whom only a single man of his nation believed (and accepted his faith)."

«أنا أول من يأخذ بحلقة باب الجنة فأقعقعها»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I will be the first person to take hold of the ring (knocker) of the gate of Paradise and knock on it."

«أنا بريء ممن حلق وسلق وخرق»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I am free of the one who (in grief at a calamity or bereavement) shaves his head, wails loudly and tears his clothes."

«أنا بريء من كل مسلم يقيم بين أظهر المشركين لا تراءى نارهما»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I am free (disassociated) from every Muslim who resides among the polytheists. The fires of the two of them (that is, the Muslim and the polytheist) should not be visible to each other (that is, they should live at such a distance)."

«أنا حرب لمن حاربتم وسلم لمن سالمتم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I am at war with whoever you are at war with, and at peace with whoever you are at peace with."

«أنا دعوة إبراهيم وكان آخر من بشر بي عيسى بن مريم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I am the supplication of (my forefather) Ibrahim (peace be upon him), and the last of those who gave the glad tidings of my coming was Isa bin Maryam (peace be upon them both)."

«أنا زعيم بيت في ربض الجنة لمن ترك المراء وإن كان محقا وبيت في وسط الجنة لمن ترك الكذب وإن كان مازحا وبيت في أعلى الجنة لمن حسن خلقه»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I guarantee a house on the outskirts of Paradise for the one who gives up arguing even when he is in the right; a house in the middle of Paradise for the one who gives up lying even in jest; and a house in the highest level of Paradise for the one who makes his character good."
"I guarantee a house on the outskirts of Paradise for the one who gives up arguing even when he is in the right; a house in the middle of Paradise for the one who gives up lying even in jest; and a house in the highest level of Paradise for the one who makes his character good."
"أنا زعيم لمن آمن بي وأسلم وهاجر ببيت في ¤ ربض الجنة وبيت في وسط الجنة وبيت في أعلى غرف الجنة، وأنا زعيم لمن آمن بي وأسلم وجاهد في سبيل الله ببيت في ربض الجنة وبيت في وسط الجنة وبيت في أعلى غرف الجنة، فمن فعل ذلك لم يدع للخير مطلبا ولا من الشر مهربا يموت حيث شاء أن يموت"
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"For the one who believes in me, accepts Islam and emigrates, I guarantee a house on the outskirts of Paradise, a house in the middle of Paradise and a house in the highest of the upper chambers of Paradise. And for the one who believes in me, accepts Islam and strives (performs jihad) in the path of Allah, I guarantee a house on the outskirts of Paradise, a house in the middle of Paradise and a house in the highest of the upper chambers of Paradise. So whoever does that has left no means of attaining good untried and no way of escaping evil untaken; he may now die wherever (and in whatever state) he wishes."

"أنا سيد الناس يوم القيامة وهل تدرون مم ذلك؟ يجمع الله الأولين والآخرين في صعيد واحد يسمعهم الداعي وينفذهم البصر وتدنوالشمس منهم فيبلغ الناس من الغم والكرب ما لا يطيقون ولا يحتملون فيقول بعض الناس لبعض: ألا ترون ما قد بلغكم؟ ألا تنظرون من يشفع لكم إلى ربكم؟ فيقول بعض الناس لبعض: ائتوا آدم فيأتون آدم فيقولون: يا آدم أنت أبونا أنت أبوالبشر خلقك الله بيده ونفخ فيك من روحه وأمر الملائكة فسجدوا لك اشفع لنا إلى ربك ألا ترى ما نحن فيه؟ ألا ترى ما قد بلغنا؟ فيقول لهم آدم: إن ربي قد غضب اليوم غضبا لم يغضب قبله مثله ولن يغضب بعده مثله وإنه نهاني عن الشجرة فعصيته نفسي نفسي نفسي اذهبوا إلى غيري اذهبوا إلى نوح; فيأتون نوحا فيقولون: أنت أول الرسل إلى أهل الأرض وسماك الله {عَبْداً شَكُوراً} اشفع لنا إلى ربك ألا ترى ما نحن فيه؟ ألا ترى ما قد بلغنا؟ فيقول لهم نوح: إن ربي قد غضب اليوم غضبا لم يغضب قبله مثله ولن يغضب بعده مثله وإنه قد كانت لي دعوة دعوت بها على قومي نفسي نفسي نفسي اذهبوا إلى غيري اذهبوا إلى إبراهيم; فيأتون إبراهيم فيقولون: يا إبراهيم؟ أنت نبي الله وخليله من أهل الأرض اشفع لنا إلى ربك ألا ترى ما ¤ نحن فيه؟ ألا ترى ما قد بلغنا؟ فيقول لهم إبراهيم: إن ربي قد غضب اليوم غضبا لم يغضب قبله مثله ولن يغضب بعده مثله وإني قد كنت كذبت ثلاث كذبات نفسي نفسي نفسي اذهبوا إلى غيري اذهبوا إلى موسى; فيأتون موسى فيقولون: يا موسى! أنت رسول الله فضلك الله برسالاته وبكلامه على الناس اشفع لنا إلى ربك ألا ترى ما نحن فيه؟ ألا ترى ما قد بلغنا؟ فيقول: إن ربي قد غضب اليوم غضبا لم يغضب قبله مثله ولن يغضب بعده مثله وإني قتلت نفسا لم أومر بقتلها نفسي نفسي نفسي اذهبوا إلى غيري اذهبوا إلى عيسى; فيأتون عيسى! فيقولون: يا عيسى أنت رسول الله وكلمته ألقاها إلى مريم وروح منه وكلمت الناس في المهد اشفع لنا إلى ربك ألا ترى ما نحن فيه؟ ألا ترى ما قد بلغنا؟ فيقول لهم عيسى: إن ربي قد غضب اليوم غضبا لم يغضب قبله مثله ولن يغضب بعده مثله نفسي نفسي نفسي اذهبوا إلى غيري اذهبوا إلى محمد; فيأتوني فيقولون: يا محمد! أنت رسول الله وخاتم الأنبياء وغفر الله لك ما تقدم من ذنبك وما تأخر اشفع لنا إلى ربك ألا ترى ما نحن فيه؟ ألا ترى ما قد بلغنا؟ فأنطلق فآتي تحت العرش فأقع ساجدا لربي ثم يفتح الله علي ويلهمني من محامده وحسن الثناء عليه شيئا لم يفتحه لأحد قبلي ثم يقال: يا محمد! ارفع رأسك سل تعط واشفع تشفع فأرفع رأسي فأقول: يا رب! أمتي أمتي فيقال: يا محمد أدخل الجنة من أمتك من لا حساب عليه من الباب الأيمن من أبواب الجنة وهم شركاء الناس فيما سوى ذلك من الأبواب والذي نفسي بيده إن ما بين مصراعين من مصاريع الجنة لكما بين مكة وهجر أوكما بين مكة وبصرى"
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I will be the leader of all people on the Day of Resurrection, and do you know why that will be? Allah Almighty will gather the first and the last on a single plain; the voice of the caller will reach them all and the sight will see them all, and the sun will come very close to them. People will be afflicted with such grief and distress as they have no strength to bear. So people will say to one another: 'Do you not see what state you have reached? Will you not look for someone to intercede for you with your Lord?' Then some people will say to others: 'Go to Adam (peace be upon him).' They will come to Adam (peace be upon him) and say: 'O Adam! You are our father, you are the father of mankind. Allah created you with His own Hand, breathed into you of His spirit, and commanded the angels and they prostrated to you. Intercede for us with your Lord. Do you not see the state we are in? Do you not see what affliction we have reached?' Adam (peace be upon him) will say to them: 'Indeed, my Lord is angry today with an anger such as He has never been before and never will be after. And He forbade me from (eating of) the tree, but I disobeyed Him. Today I am concerned only for myself: myself, myself, myself. Go to someone other than me; go to Nuh (peace be upon him).' So they will come to Nuh (peace be upon him) and say: '(O Nuh!) You are the first Messenger sent to the people of the earth, and Allah named you "a most grateful servant" [Surah al-Isra: 3]. Intercede for us with your Lord. Do you not see the state we are in? Do you not see what affliction we have reached?' Nuh (peace be upon him) will say to them: 'Indeed, my Lord is angry today with an anger such as He has never been before and never will be after. I was granted one supplication, which I made against my people. I am concerned only for myself: myself, myself, myself. Go to someone other than me; go to Ibrahim (peace be upon him).' So they will come to Ibrahim (peace be upon him) and say: 'O Ibrahim! You are the Prophet of Allah and His intimate friend (Khalil) from among the people of the earth. Intercede for us with your Lord. Do you not see the state we are in? Do you not see what affliction we have reached?' Ibrahim (peace be upon him) will say to them: 'Indeed, my Lord is angry today with an anger such as He has never been before and never will be after. I told three lies (in my life). I am concerned only for myself: myself, myself, myself. Go to someone other than me; go to Musa (peace be upon him).' So they will come to Musa (peace be upon him) and say: 'O Musa! You are the Messenger of Allah; Allah favoured you above people with His messages and His speech. Intercede for us with your Lord. Do you not see the state we are in? Do you not see what affliction we have reached?' He will say: 'Indeed, my Lord is angry today with an anger such as He has never been before and never will be after. I killed a person whom I had not been commanded to kill. I am concerned only for myself: myself, myself, myself. Go to someone other than me; go to Isa (peace be upon him).' So they will come to Isa (peace be upon him) and say: 'O Isa! You are the Messenger of Allah and His Word which He conveyed to Maryam (peace be upon her), and a spirit from Him, and you spoke to people in the cradle. Intercede for us with your Lord. Do you not see the state we are in? Do you not see what affliction we have reached?' Isa (peace be upon him) will say to them: 'Indeed, my Lord is angry today with an anger such as He has never been before and never will be after. I am concerned only for myself: myself, myself, myself. Go to someone other than me; go to Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).' So they will come to me and say: 'O Muhammad! You are the Messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets, and Allah has forgiven you all your past and future sins. Intercede for us with your Lord. Do you not see the state we are in? Do you not see what affliction we have reached?' Then I will set off and come beneath the Throne and fall down in prostration before my Lord. Then Allah Almighty will open to me words of His praise and the finest glorification of Him that He has not opened to anyone before me. Then it will be said: 'O Muhammad! Raise your head; ask and you will be given, and intercede and your intercession will be accepted.' So I will raise my head and say: 'O my Lord! My Ummah, my Ummah.' Then it will be said: 'O Muhammad! Admit those of your Ummah who have no reckoning against them through the right-hand gate among the gates of Paradise; and they share with the rest of the people in the other gates besides that.' By the One in whose Hand is my soul! The distance between two of the door-leaves of the gates of Paradise is like the distance between Makkah and Hajar, or like that between Makkah and Busra."

Do you not see the state we are in? Do you not see what affliction we have reached?' Isa (peace be upon him) will say to them: 'Indeed, my Lord is angry today with an anger such as He has never been before and never will be after. I am concerned only for myself: myself, myself, myself. Go to someone other than me; go to Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).' So they will come to me and say: 'O Muhammad! You are the Messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets, and Allah has forgiven you all your past and future sins. Intercede for us with your Lord. Do you not see the state we are in? Do you not see what affliction we have reached?' Then I will set off and come beneath the Throne and fall down in prostration before my Lord. Then Allah Almighty will open to me words of His praise and the finest glorification of Him that He has not opened to anyone before me. Then it will be said: 'O Muhammad! Raise your head; ask and you will be given, and intercede and your intercession will be accepted.' So I will raise my head and say: 'O my Lord! My Ummah, my Ummah.' Then it will be said: 'O Muhammad! Admit those of your Ummah who have no reckoning against them through the right-hand gate among the gates of Paradise; and they share with the rest of the people in the other gates besides that.' By the One in whose Hand is my soul! The distance between two of the door-leaves of the gates of Paradise is like the distance between Makkah and Hajar, or like that between Makkah and Busra."
«أنا سيد ولد آدم يوم القيامة وأول من ينشق عنه القبر وأول شافع وأول مشفع»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I will be the leader of the children of Adam on the Day of Resurrection, and the first person whose grave will be split open (that is, I will be the first to rise from the grave), and I am the first to intercede and the first whose intercession will be accepted."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I will be the leader of the children of Adam on the Day of Resurrection, and I say this without pride; in my hand will be the Banner of Praise, and I say this without pride; and on that day Adam (peace be upon him) and all the Prophets besides him will be beneath my banner; and I will be the first to intercede and the first whose intercession will be accepted, and I say this without pride."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I will reach the Pond (al-Kawthar) before you and be your forerunner there."

«أنا فرطكم على الحوض أنتظركم ليرفع لي رجال منكم حتى إذا عرفتهم اختلجوا دوني فأقول: رب أصحابي! رب أصحابي! فيقال: إنك لا تدري ما أحدثوا بعدك»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I will be your forerunner at the Pond (al-Kawthar). I will wait for you until some men from among you are brought before me; then, when I recognise them, they will be pulled away from me. So I will say: 'O my Lord! These are my companions! O my Lord! These are my companions!' Then it will be said: 'You do not know what new things they invented (in the religion) after you.'"

So I will say: 'O my Lord! These are my companions! These are my companions!' Then He (Allah) will say: 'You do not know what new things they fabricated after you.'"

«أنا محمد بن عبد الله بن عبد المطلب إن الله تعالى خلق الخلق فجعلني في خيرهم ثم جعلهم فرقتين فجعلني في خيرهم فرقة ثم جعلهم قبائل فجعلني في خيرهم قبيلة ثم جعلهم بيوتا فجعلني في خيرهم بيتا فأنا خيركم بيتا وأنا خيركم نفسا»

"I am Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Abd al-Muttalib. Indeed, Allah Almighty created the creation and placed me in the best group of them; then He divided them into two parts and placed me in the best part of them; then He divided them into tribes and made me be born in the best tribe of them; then He divided them into households and made me be born in the best household of them. So I am the best of you in household and the best of you in person."

«أنا محمد وأحمد والمقفي والحاشر ونبي التوبة ونبي الرحمة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I am Muhammad, and I am Ahmad, and I am al-Muqaffi (the one who comes after all the others), and I am al-Hashir (the one who gathers the people), and I am the Prophet of repentance, and I am the Prophet of mercy."

«أنا وارث من لا وارث له أفك عانيه وأرث ماله والخال وارث من لا وارث له يفك عانيه ويرث ماله»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I am the heir of the one who has no heir: I pay the ransom of his captive on his behalf and I inherit his wealth. And the maternal uncle is the heir of the one who has no heir: he pays the ransom of his captive on his behalf and inherits his wealth."

«أنا وكافل اليتيم في الجنة هكذا»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I and the one who looks after an orphan will be in Paradise like this (together)."

«أنا وكافل اليتيم له أولغيره في الجنة والساعي على الأرملة والمسكين كالمجاهد في سبيل الله»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I and the one who looks after an orphan, whether his own or someone else's, will be in Paradise (together like this); and the one who strives to meet the needs of the widow and the poor person is like the one who strives (performs jihad) in the path of Allah."

«انبذوه على غدائكم واشربوه على عشائكم وانبذوه على عشائكم واشربوه على غدائكم وانبذوه في الشنان ولا تنبذوه في القلل فإنه إذا تأخر عن عصره صار خلا»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Soak it (the nabidh) in the morning and drink it at night, and soak it at night and drink it in the morning; and soak it in waterskins and do not soak it in earthenware jars, for when time passes over it, it turns into vinegar."

«أنت أحق بصدر دابتك مني إلا أن تجعله لي»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"You have more right than I do to the front part of your mount (that is, to sit at the front), unless you give that place to me."
