"أنا أولى بالمؤمنين في كتاب الله فأيكم ما ترك دينا أو ضيعة فادعوني فأنا وليه وأيكم ما ترك مالا فليؤثر بماله عصبته ¤ من كان"
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I am closer to the believers according to the Book of Allah. So whoever among you dies leaving a debt or weak and helpless dependants, let them call me, for I am his guardian. And whoever dies leaving wealth, let his wealth be given to his paternal heirs (asabah), whoever they may be."
