"أنا أولى بالمؤمنين في كتاب الله فأيكم ما ترك دينا أو ضيعة فادعوني فأنا وليه وأيكم ما ترك مالا فليؤثر بماله عصبته

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I am closer to the believers according to the Book of Allah. So whoever among you dies leaving a debt or weak and helpless dependants, let them call me, for I am his guardian. And whoever dies leaving wealth, let his wealth be given to his paternal heirs (asabah), whoever they may be."
