These are the things from which Allah has protected you. And your Lord has warned you of three things: the Smoke, which will affect the believer like a cold, while it will cause the disbeliever to swell up until it comes out of every opening of his; the second is the Beast (of the earth), and the third is the Dajjal."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Malik al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that during the Farewell Hajj, on the days of sacrifice, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to the people: "Is this not the sacred day?" They said: Indeed it is, O Messenger of Allah. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then the sanctity between you until the Day of Resurrection is like the sanctity of this day. Shall I tell you who the Muslim is? The Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand the Muslims are safe. Shall I tell you who the believer is? The believer is the one whom the Muslims trust with their lives and their wealth. Shall I tell you who the emigrant (muhajir) is? The emigrant is the one who has abandoned sins. And the believer is sacred to the believer like the sanctity of this day: his flesh is forbidden to him, that he should eat it by backbiting him; his honour is forbidden to him, that he should tear it; his face is forbidden to him, that he should slap it; his blood is forbidden to him, that he should shed it; his wealth is forbidden to him, that he should wrong him in it; harming him is forbidden to him; and pushing him is forbidden to him."

Then that I show them Paradise and all the good I have prepared for them in it, so that they become certain of it; and that I show them the Fire and all the evil I have prepared for them in it, so that they become certain of it. But I have deliberately hidden this from them, so that I may know how they act, even though I have made it clear to them."
