Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 3443 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Allah

حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ، ثنا مُحَمَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، حَدَّثَنِي ضَمْضَمٌ، عَنْ شُرَيْحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَى أَجْسَامِكُمْ وَلَا إِلَى أَحْسَابِكُمْ وَلَا إِلَى أَمْوَالِكُمْ، وَلَكِنْ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى قُلُوبِكُمْ، فَمَنْ كَانَ لَهُ قَلْبٌ صَالِحٌ تَحَنَّنَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ، وَإِنَّمَا أَنْتُمْ بَنُو آدَمَ وأَحَبُّكُمْ إِلَيَّ أَتْقَاكُمْ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Malik al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, does not look at your bodies, nor at your lineage, nor at your wealth; rather, He looks at your hearts. Whoever has a righteous heart, Allah is compassionate towards him. You are all the children of Adam, and the most beloved of you to me is the one with the most taqwa (God-consciousness)."
