Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 3444 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: O Allah

حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، حَدَّثَنِي ضَمْضَمُ بْنُ زُرْعَةَ، عَنْ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «اللهُمَّ حَبِّبِ الْمَوْتَ إِلَى مَنْ يَعْلَمُ أَنِّي رَسُولُكَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Malik al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Allah, make death beloved to whoever knows that I am Your Messenger."
