Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 3445 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said

حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ مَرْثَدٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، حَدَّثَنِي ضَمْضَمُ بْنُ زُرْعَةَ، عَنْ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْيَوْمُ الْمَوْعُودُ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَإِنَّ الشَّاهِدَ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ، وَإِنَّ الْمَشْهُودَ يَوْمُ عَرَفَةَ، وَيَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ ذَخَرَهُ اللهُ لَنَا، وَصَلَاةُ الْوُسْطَى صَلَاةُ الْعَصْرِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Malik al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Promised Day is the Day of Resurrection; the witnessing day is Friday, and the day that is witnessed is the Day of Arafah. Friday is a day that Allah has reserved for us, and the middle prayer is the Asr prayer."
