Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 3437 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Malik al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded us to say, in the morning, in the evening and when lying down on our beds: "O Allah, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, You are the Lord of everything, and the angels bear witness that there is no god worthy of worship but You. We seek refuge in You from the evil of our own selves, from the evil of the accursed Satan and his shirk, and from committing evil against ourselves or bringing it upon a Muslim."
