Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 3435 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Any man

حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، حَدَّثَنِي ضَمْضَمُ بْنُ زُرْعَةَ، عَنْ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ يَسْتَيْقِظُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَيُوقِظُ امْرَأَتَهُ، فَإِنْ غَلَبَهَا النَّوْمُ نَضَحَ فِي وَجْهِهَا مِنَ الْمَاءِ، فَيَقُومَانِ فِي بَيْتِهِمَا فَيَذْكُرَانِ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ سَاعَةً مِنَ اللَّيْلِ إِلَّا غُفِرَ لَهُمَا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Malik al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Any man who wakes up at night and wakes his wife, and if sleep overcomes her he sprinkles water on her face, and then the two of them stand in their house and remember Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, for an hour of the night, they will both be forgiven."
