Hadith Beginning with the Letter Kha (خ)

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"That servant has failed and is in loss in whose heart Allah Almighty has not placed mercy for human beings."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Khalid bin al-Walid is one of the swords of Allah."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Khalid bin al-Walid is one of the swords of Allah; Allah has drawn him against the polytheists."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Khalid is one of the swords of Allah, and he is the finest young man of his tribe."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Oppose the polytheists: trim your moustaches closely and let your beards grow."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Oppose the Jews, for they do not pray in their sandals or their leather socks."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"My Lord informed me that I would see a sign in my Ummah, and that when I see it I should say abundantly: 'Subhan Allahi wa bihamdihi, astaghfirullaha wa atubu ilayh' (Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him; I seek Allah's forgiveness and turn to Him in repentance). And I have seen that sign: 'When the help of Allah and the victory come' - that is, the conquest of Makkah - 'and you see the people entering the religion of Allah in multitudes, then glorify the praise of your Lord and seek His forgiveness; indeed, He is ever Accepting of repentance.'"

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Put your garment on, and do not walk about naked."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Learn the Qur'an from these four: Ibn Mas'ud, Ubayy bin Ka'b, Mu'adh bin Jabal, and Salim, the freed slave of Abu Hudhayfah."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Take your shield against the Fire: say 'Subhan Allah' (Glory be to Allah), 'Wal-hamdu lillah' (and praise be to Allah), 'Wa la ilaha illallah' (and there is no god but Allah) and 'Wallahu akbar' (and Allah is the Greatest), for these words will come on the Day of Resurrection as protectors in front, behind, and on the right and the left, and they are the enduring good deeds (al-baqiyat al-salihat)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Take it from me, take it from me: Allah Almighty has appointed a way for them. For the unmarried with the unmarried, the ruling is one hundred lashes and exile for a year; and for the married with the married, the ruling is one hundred lashes and stoning."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Keep to your places, for the people have prayed and gone to their beds, and you will continue to be counted as in prayer as long as you are waiting for the prayer. Were it not for the weakness of the weak, the sickness of the sick and the need of those in need, I would have delayed this prayer until the middle of the night."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Take on as much worship as you are able to, for Allah does not tire of rewarding until you yourselves grow tired of doing deeds."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Take on as many deeds as you are able to, for Allah does not grow weary until you yourselves grow weary."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Carry on with your play, O Banu Arfidah, so that the Jews and the Christians may know that there is latitude in our religion."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Take a piece of cloth scented with musk and purify yourself with it."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Take from his wealth, in a reasonable manner, what is sufficient for you and your sons."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"A man from among those who came before you was walking proudly in a fine garment of his, so Allah commanded the earth and it seized him, and he will go on sinking into it until the Day of Resurrection."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I was born through marriage, not through fornication, from the time of Adam (peace be upon him)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I was born through marriage, not through fornication."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I was born through marriage, not through fornication, from the time of Adam (peace be upon him) until my parents gave birth to me; nothing of the fornication of the Jahiliyyah touched me."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I came out intending to inform you about Laylat al-Qadr, but two men quarrelled with each other, so this knowledge was taken away from me. So seek it in the last ten nights: on the seventh remaining, the ninth remaining, or the fifth remaining night."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The appearance of the signs of the Hour, one after another, will be continuous, just as beads on a string follow one after another."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The means for my Ummah to control their desires is fasting and standing in night prayer."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Two traits never come together in a hypocrite: good conduct and understanding of the religion."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"There are two practices which no Muslim servant keeps up without entering Paradise. Indeed, they are easy, yet those who act upon them are few: that he says Subhan Allah ten times after every prayer, Alhamdulillah ten times and Allahu akbar ten times - that makes one hundred and fifty on the tongue and fifteen hundred in the Scale; and that when he goes to his bed he says Allahu akbar thirty-four times, Alhamdulillah thirty-three times and Subhan Allah thirty-three times - that makes one hundred on the tongue and one thousand in the Scale. So which of you commits two thousand five hundred sins in a day and a night?"

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The recitation of the Qur'an (the Psalms) was made easy for Dawud (peace be upon him). He would order his mounts to be saddled, and he would finish reciting the Qur'an (the Psalms) before his mounts were saddled; and he ate nothing except from the earnings of his own hands."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I have left behind among you two things, after which you will never go astray: the Book of Allah and my Sunnah, and these two will never separate until they come to me at the Pond (al-Hawd)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Allah Almighty created Adam (peace be upon him) in His special form, and his height was sixty cubits. Then He said: 'Go and greet those people' - they were a group of angels sitting there - 'and listen to how they reply to you, for that will be your greeting and the greeting of your offspring.' So he went and said: 'As-salamu alaykum (peace be upon you).' They replied: 'As-salamu alayka wa rahmatullah (peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah),' so they added 'wa rahmatullah'. So everyone who enters Paradise will be in the form of Adam (peace be upon him), sixty cubits tall, and since then the stature of creation has kept decreasing until now."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Allah Almighty created Adam (peace be upon him), then struck his right shoulder and brought out from it white offspring as though they were milk; then He struck his left shoulder and brought out from it black offspring as though they were charcoal. Then He said: 'These are for Paradise, and I do not care; and these are for Hell, and I do not care.'"

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Allah Almighty created the soil on Saturday, created the mountains in it on Sunday, created the trees on Monday, created disliked things on Tuesday, created light on Wednesday, spread the animals in it on Thursday, and created Adam (peace be upon him) after Asr on Friday, at the end of creation, in the last of the hours of Friday, between Asr and nightfall."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Allah Almighty created mercy in one hundred parts. He placed one mercy among His creation, by which they show mercy to one another, and He kept ninety-nine with Himself."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Allah Almighty created Yahya bin Zakariyya (peace be upon him) a believer in his mother's womb, and created Pharaoh a disbeliever in his mother's womb."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The angels were created from light, the jinn were created from a flame of fire, and Adam (peace be upon him) was created from that which has been described to you."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Pass your fingers between the fingers of your hands and the toes of your feet."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Five things are tied to five things: no people broke a covenant but their enemy was given power over them; no people judged by other than what Allah revealed but poverty became widespread among them; no people among whom indecency spread but death became widespread among them; no people gave short measure and weight but produce was withheld from them and they were seized with years of famine; and no people withheld zakah but the rain was withheld from them."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Five rights are due from a Muslim to his brother: returning the greeting of salam, responding to one who sneezes, accepting an invitation, visiting the sick, and following the funeral procession."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, has made five prayers obligatory. Whoever performs the ablution for them well, offers them at their proper times, and completes their bowing and their humility, has a promise from Allah that He will forgive him; and whoever does not do so has no promise from Allah: if He wills, He will forgive him, and if He wills, He will punish him."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Allah Almighty has prescribed five prayers for His servants. Whoever performs them without wasting any of them out of neglect of their right has a promise with Allah that He will admit him into Paradise; and whoever does not perform them has no promise with Allah: if He wills, He will punish him, and if He wills, He will admit him into Paradise."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Five harmful creatures may be killed both outside and inside the Haram: the snake, the pied crow, the mouse, the biting dog, and the kite."
