«خفف على داود القرآن فكان يأمر بدوابه فتسرج فيقرأ القرآن من قبل أن تسرج دوابه ولا يأكل إلا من عمل يده»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The recitation of the Qur'an (the Psalms) was made easy for Dawud (peace be upon him). He would order his mounts to be saddled, and he would finish reciting the Qur'an (the Psalms) before his mounts were saddled; and he ate nothing except from the earnings of his own hands."
