«خذوا عني خذوا عني قد جعل الله لهن سبيلا البكر بالبكر جلد مائة ونفي سنة والثيب بالثيب جلد مائة والرجم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Take it from me, take it from me: Allah Almighty has appointed a way for them. For the unmarried with the unmarried, the ruling is one hundred lashes and exile for a year; and for the married with the married, the ruling is one hundred lashes and stoning."
