Hadith Beginning with the Letter Kha (خ)

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The best places towards which riding animals are driven are this mosque of mine and the Ancient House (al-Bayt al-Atiq)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The best things a person leaves behind him are three: a righteous child who supplicates for him, an ongoing charity whose reward continues to reach him, and knowledge from which benefit is derived after him."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The best place of prayer for women is the innermost part of their homes."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The best of the women of the worlds are four: Maryam bint Imran, Khadijah bint Khuwaylid, Fatimah bint Muhammad, and Asiyah, the wife of Pharaoh."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The best of women who have ridden camels are the righteous women of Quraysh: the most tender towards a child in its infancy and the most careful in guarding a husband's property."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The best of your women are those who bear many children, are loving, consoling and agreeable, provided they fear Allah. And the worst of your women are those who go out adorned and flaunting themselves and who are arrogant; they are the hypocrite women. None of them will enter Paradise except one as rare as the white-legged crow."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The best of its women is Maryam bint Imran, and the best of its women is Khadijah bint Khuwaylid."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The best days on which to have cupping done are the seventeenth, the nineteenth and the twenty-first. And on the night of the Isra, I did not pass by any group of angels but that they said: 'O Muhammad, be sure to have cupping done.'"

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday. On it Adam (peace be upon him) was created, on it he was admitted into Paradise, and on it he was expelled from it. And the Hour will not be established except on Friday."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday. On it Adam (peace be upon him) was created, on it he was sent down to the earth, on it his repentance was accepted, on it he died, and on it the Hour will be established. There is no creature on the face of the earth that does not listen attentively on Friday morning, out of fear of the Hour, until the sun rises, except the human being. And on that day there is a moment such that no believing servant who finds it while in prayer and asks Allah for something except that Allah will surely grant it to him."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I was given the choice between intercession and half of my Ummah entering Paradise, and I chose intercession."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The trustworthy Muslim treasurer who gives what he has been commanded to give, in full and complete, willingly, and delivers it to the one for whom it was ordered, is also counted as one of the givers of charity."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The maternal uncle is an heir."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The maternal uncle is the heir of one who has no heir."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The maternal aunt is of the status of the mother."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The maternal aunt is like a mother."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The caliphate in my Ummah after me will last thirty years, then after that there will be kingship."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The caliphate is in Quraysh, governance is in the Ansar, the call to prayer (adhan) is in the Abyssinians, and jihad and emigration (hijrah) are in the Muslims and the Muhajirun who come after them."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"All of creation sends blessings upon the one who teaches goodness, even the fish of the sea."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Wine is the root of all filthy things. Whoever drinks it, his prayer is not accepted for forty days, and if he dies while it is in his stomach, he dies the death of the Jahiliyyah."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Wine is the root of all indecencies and the greatest of the major sins. Whoever drinks it may, in his intoxication, even assault his mother, his maternal aunt and his paternal aunt."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Wine comes from these two trees: the date palm and the grapevine."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The Khawarij are the dogs of Hell."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Goodness is a habit and evil is stubbornness, and whoever Allah intends good for, He grants him understanding of the religion."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Goodness is tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection, and the one who spends on horses is like a person who keeps his hand open to give charity and never closes it."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Horses are of three kinds: a horse for the Most Merciful, a horse for Satan, and a horse for man. The horse of the Most Merciful is the one kept tethered in the path of Allah; its fodder, its dung and its urine will all be in his scale (of deeds). The horse of Satan is the one on which gambling or wagers are made. And the horse of man is the one a person keeps for the sake of breeding it, so it is a protection against poverty."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Among horses, goodness lies in the forelocks of the reddish-brown ones."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Horses are for three kinds of people: for one man they are a reward, for another they are a means of protection, and for a third they are a burden of sin. The one for whom they are a reward is the man who tethers them in the path of Allah and leaves them a long rope to graze in a pasture or a garden; whatever they eat within the length of their rope from the pasture or garden becomes good deeds for him. And if their rope breaks and they run off over one or two rises, their tracks and their dung also become good deeds for him. And if they pass by a stream and drink water, even though he did not intend to water them, that too becomes good deeds for him. The second man is the one who tethers them for the sake of self-sufficiency, protection and chastity, and then does not forget the right of Allah concerning their necks and their backs; so they are a means of protection for him. And the third man is the one who tethers them out of pride, show and hostility towards the people of Islam; so they are a burden of sin for him."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Goodness is tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection, (that is,) reward and spoils of war."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Goodness is tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Goodness is tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection, and their owners are helped because of them. So stroke their forelocks, pray for blessing for them, and put collars on them, but do not put bowstring collars on them."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Goodness and blessing are tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection, and their owners are helped because of them. Put collars on them, and do not put bowstring collars on them."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The tent (of Paradise) is a hollow pearl whose height into the sky is sixty miles. In each of its corners the believer will have family members whom the others (in the other corners) will not be able to see."
