«خير يوم طلعت فيه الشمس يوم الجمعة فيه خلق آدم وفيه أهبط وفيه تيب عليه وفيه قبض وفيه تقوم الساعة ما على وجه الأرض من دابة إلا وهي تصبح يوم الجمعة مصيخة حتى تطلع الشمس شفقا من الساعة إلا ابن آدم وفيه ساعة لا يصادفها عبد مؤمن وهو في الصلاة يسأل الله شيئا إلا أعطاه إياه»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday. On it Adam (peace be upon him) was created, on it he was sent down to the earth, on it his repentance was accepted, on it he died, and on it the Hour will be established. There is no creature on the face of the earth that does not listen attentively on Friday morning, out of fear of the Hour, until the sun rises, except the human being. And on that day there is a moment such that no believing servant who finds it while in prayer and asks Allah for something except that Allah will surely grant it to him."
