Hadith Beginning with the Letter Ta (ت)

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Perform Hajj and Umrah one after the other (in succession), for performing them consecutively removes poverty and sins just as the furnace removes the impurities of iron."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Perform Hajj and Umrah one after the other (in succession), for these two remove sins just as the furnace removes the impurities of iron."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Perform Hajj and Umrah one after the other (in succession), for these two remove poverty, neediness and sins just as the furnace removes the impurities of iron, gold and silver; and there is no reward for an accepted Hajj (Hajj mabrur) except Paradise."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"On the Day of Resurrection, camels will come to their owner in their best and fattest condition; if he had not paid Allah's right on them (zakah), they will trample him with their feet. And sheep and goats will come to their owner in their best condition; if he had not paid their right, they will trample him with their hooves and butt him with their horns. And one of their rights is that they be milked at the watering place. Beware! Let none of you come on the Day of Resurrection carrying on his neck a camel that is groaning, and call out to me: 'O Muhammad!' For I will answer him: 'I have no power to do anything for you; I had conveyed the message.' Beware! Let none of you come on the Day of Resurrection carrying on his neck a goat that is bleating, and call out to me: 'O Muhammad!' For I will answer him: 'I have no power to do anything for you; I had conveyed the message.' And the treasure of any one of you (who did not pay zakah) will become, on the Day of Resurrection, a bald venomous snake; its owner will flee from it, and the snake will pursue him, saying: 'I am your treasure.' It will keep pursuing him until that person puts his fingers into its mouth."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Let one of you (women, for the ritual bath after menstruation) take her water and lote-tree leaves and purify herself thoroughly well, then pour water over her head and rub it vigorously until the water reaches the roots of the hair on her head (and its partings), then pour water over herself, then take a piece of cotton or cloth scented with musk and purify herself with it (by cleaning the place of the blood)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The charities of the Muslims (that is, the zakah on livestock) are to be collected at their springs and watering places (where they come to drink water)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The fire of Hell will burn the whole body of the son of Adam except the marks of prostration, for Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, has forbidden the Fire to burn the marks of prostration."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Trade gold for silver however you wish, and trade silver for gold however you wish (that is, if it is hand to hand, it is permissible with an increase or decrease)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Ruin (and destruction) be to gold and silver."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Your smiling in the face of your Muslim brother is charity for you; your enjoining good and forbidding evil is charity; your showing the way to a person who has gone astray is charity for you; your removing a stone, a thorn and a bone from the road is charity for you; and your pouring water from your bucket into your brother's bucket is also charity for you."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"On Friday, the angels are sent to the doors of the mosque; they write down the name of the first to arrive, then the one who comes after him. Then when the imam ascends the pulpit, the scrolls (of deeds) are rolled up."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever spat in the direction of the Qiblah, on the Day of Resurrection that phlegm (or spittle) of his will be brought in such a state that it is stuck on his face."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The ornament of the believer (in Paradise) will reach as far as the water of his ablution reaches."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The dwellings (of Madinah) will (spread out and) reach the place called Ihab."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"You will leave Madinah in its best condition; only birds and beasts of prey will (come and) dwell in it. And the last to be gathered will be two shepherds from the tribe of Muzaynah who will want to come to Madinah; they will come driving their goats, and they will find them in the form of wild animals. Until, when they reach Thaniyyat al-Wada' (the mountain pass), they will fall on their faces (that is, they will die)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Overlook punishing noble and dignified people for their (minor) slips."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"(The prayer of) Friday is obligatory upon every Muslim, except a woman, a child or a slave."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"You will find people like mines (of minerals); those of them who were best in the time of ignorance (Jahiliyyah) are also the best after accepting Islam, provided they gain understanding of the religion. And you will find the best person in this matter (of authority and leadership) to be the one who most detested it before falling into that office. And you will find the worst person with Allah on the Day of Resurrection to be the one who is two-faced: (that is, the one who comes to one group with one face and to another with another face)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Keep the prayer light, for behind you there are the weak, the elderly and the one who has a need."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Before the Hour, a wind will blow in which the soul of every believer will be taken."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Paradise and Hell disputed with each other. Hell said: 'I have been singled out for the arrogant and the tyrants.' And Paradise said: 'What is the matter with me that none enter me except the weak, the lowly and the helpless among people?' So Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, said to Paradise: 'You are My mercy; through you I show mercy to whomever I wish among My servants.' And He said to Hell: 'You are My punishment; through you I punish whomever I wish among My servants. And each of you shall be filled.' As for Hell, it will not be filled until Allah places His foot upon it; then it will say: 'Enough, enough!' Then it will be filled, and its parts will draw together into one another, and Allah does not wrong anyone of His creation. As for Paradise, Allah will bring into being a new creation for it."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Seek the Night of Decree (Laylat al-Qadr), and whoever wishes to seek it, let him seek it on the twenty-seventh night."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Seek the Night of Decree (Laylat al-Qadr) in the last seven nights of Ramadan."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Seek the Night of Decree (Laylat al-Qadr) in the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadan."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Seek the Night of Decree (Laylat al-Qadr) on the twenty-third night."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"You will be raised barefoot, naked and uncircumcised, in the same state in which you were born."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Move into the shade."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Move away from this place of yours in which heedlessness overtook you."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The Beast (Dabbat al-Ard) will emerge from the earth and will put a mark on people's noses; then they will live long lives among you, until a man will buy an animal and will be asked: 'From whom did you buy it?' And he will say: 'From the man whose nose is marked.'"

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Choose well for your offspring; so marry those who are your equals, and marry your daughters to them."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Treat illness with cow's milk, for I hope that Allah has placed a cure in it, because the cow eats from every kind of tree and plant."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"O servants of Allah! Seek treatment, for Allah Almighty has not created any disease without placing a remedy for it, except one disease: old age."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The eye sheds tears and the heart grieves, but we will say only what pleases the Lord. By Allah! O Ibrahim, we are grieved by your parting."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The eye sheds tears and the heart grieves, and we do not say what angers the Lord. Were it not that this is a true promise and a place of gathering, and that the later of us will join the earlier, we would grieve for you, O Ibrahim, far more than we have grieved; and indeed we are grieved by your parting, O Ibrahim."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"On the Day of Resurrection, the sun will come so close to the people that it will be at a distance of only one mile from them, and the people will be in sweat according to their deeds: some up to their ankles, some up to their knees, some up to their waists, and some whom the sweat will bridle like a rein."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The mill of Islam will keep turning for thirty-five, thirty-six or thirty-seven years. If they perish, then it is the path of those who perished; and if their religion remains established for them, it will remain established for seventy years, including the time that has already passed."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The good people among you will pass away one after another, until none of you remain except as few as these."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"My Ummah will come to me at the Pond (Hawd), and I will drive people away from it as a man drives other people's camels away from his own camels. The Companions said: 'O Prophet of Allah! Will you recognise us?' He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Yes, you will have a mark that no one other than you will have; you will come to me with radiant foreheads, hands and feet from the traces of ablution. But a group of you will certainly be turned away from me, and they will not be able to reach me. So I will say: "O my Lord! These are my companions!" Then an angel will answer me and say: "Do you know what new things they invented after you?"'"

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I have left among you two things, after which you will never go astray: the Book of Allah and my Sunnah, and these two will never separate until they come to me at the Pond (Hawd)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Marry, even if the dowry (mahr) is only an iron ring."
