«ثلاث أحلف عليهن: لا يجعل الله تعالى من له سهم في الإسلام كمن لا سهم له وأسهم الإسلام ثلاثة: الصلاة والصوم والزكاة ولا يتولى الله عبدا في الدنيا فيوليه غيره يوم القيامة ولا يحب رجل قوما إلا جعله الله معهم والرابعة لو حلفت عليها رجوت أن لا آثم: لا يستر الله عبدا في الدنيا إلا ستره يوم القيامة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"There are three things upon which I swear: Allah Almighty will not make one who has a share in Islam like one who has no share, and the shares of Islam are three: prayer, fasting and zakah. When Allah takes a servant under His care in this world, He will not hand him over to anyone else on the Day of Resurrection. No man loves a people except that Allah will join him with them. And a fourth, which, if I were to swear upon it, I hope I would not be sinning: when Allah conceals the faults of a servant in this world, He will also conceal his faults on the Day of Resurrection."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"There are three things upon which I swear: no servant's wealth is diminished by charity; no servant is patient in the face of an injustice except that Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, increases him in honour; and no servant opens the door of begging except that Allah opens upon him the door of poverty. And I will tell you something, so remember it: this world is only for four kinds of people. One is a servant whom Allah has blessed with both wealth and knowledge, so he fears his Lord in it, maintains ties of kinship, and fulfils the right of Allah; he is at the best of ranks. The second is a servant whom Allah has given knowledge but not wealth, and, being sincere in his intention, he says: 'If I had wealth, I would do as so-and-so does.' So by virtue of his intention, he receives a reward equal to the first. The third is a servant whom Allah has given wealth but not knowledge, so he acts as he pleases with his wealth without knowledge; he neither fears his Lord in it, nor maintains ties of kinship, nor fulfils the right of Allah; he is at the worst of ranks. The fourth is a servant whom Allah has given neither wealth nor knowledge, and he says: 'If I had wealth, I would do as so-and-so does.' So by virtue of his intention, he is equal to him in sin."

Those that bring destruction are: obeying greed, following one's desires, and a man's admiration of himself. Those that bring salvation are: being just in anger and in contentment, moderation in poverty and in affluence, and fear of Allah Almighty in private and in public. Those that are expiations are: waiting for the next prayer after a prayer, performing ablution thoroughly in the cold, and walking to the congregations. Those that raise ranks are: feeding others, spreading the greeting of peace, and praying at night while people are asleep."

"There are three people upon whom Allah has made Paradise forbidden: the habitual drinker of wine, the one who is disobedient to his parents, and the cuckold (dayyuth) who tolerates indecency among his family."

And a man who goes to the mosque; Allah is his guarantor until He takes his life and admits him into Paradise, or returns him with reward. And a man who enters his house with a greeting of peace (salam); Allah is his guarantor."

Of good fortune: a righteous wife who pleases you when you look at her, and whom you can trust with herself and your wealth when you are away from her; a riding animal that is smooth-paced so that it brings you up with your companions; and a house that is spacious with many amenities. And of misfortune: a wife who displeases you when you look at her and who hurts you with her tongue, and whom you cannot trust with herself and your wealth when you are away from her; a riding animal that is sluggish, such that if you beat it, it wears you out, and if you leave it, it does not bring you up with your companions; and a house that is cramped with few amenities."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The prayer of three people does not rise above their ears: the runaway slave until he returns, a woman who spends the night while her husband is displeased with her, and the imam whom the people dislike."
"The prayer of three people does not rise above their ears: the runaway slave until he returns, a woman who spends the night while her husband is displeased with her, and the imam whom the people dislike."
"ثلاثة لا تسأل عنهم: رجل فارق الجماعة وعصى إمامه ومات عاصيا وأمة أو عبد أبق من سيده فمات وامرأة غاب عنها زوجها وقد كفاها مؤنة الدنيا فتبرجت بعده فلا تسأل عنهم"
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Do not ask about three people: a man who separated from the community (jama'ah), disobeyed his leader and died in a state of disobedience; a female or male slave who ran away from his master and died in that state; and a woman whose husband is absent, who has provided her with the needs of this world, yet after him she goes out adorned and displaying herself. Do not ask about them."

"Do not ask about three people: a man who contends with Allah over His lower garment (izar), and a man who contends with Allah over His cloak (rida), for Allah's cloak is grandeur and His lower garment is might; and a man who is in doubt about the matter of Allah and in despair of Allah's mercy."
