«جاء جبريل فقال: ما تعدون من شهد بدرا فيكم؟ قلت: خيارنا قال وكذلك من شهد بدرا من الملائكة هم عندنا خيار الملائكة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Jibril (peace be upon him) came and said: 'How do you regard those among you who took part in Badr?' I said: 'The best of us.' He said: 'Likewise, those of the angels who took part in Badr are, in our view too, the best of the angels.'"

«جار الدار أحق بالدار من غيره»

«جعل الله الحسنة بعشر أمثالها الشهر بعشرة أشهر وصيام ستة أيام بعد الشهر تمام السنة»

"Allah Almighty made mercy into one hundred parts. He kept ninety-nine parts with Himself and sent down one part to the earth. Because of that one part, creation shows mercy to one another, so much so that a mare lifts her hoof away from her foal for fear of hurting it."
