«تدمع العين ويحزن القلب ولا نقول ما يسخط الرب ولولا أنه وعد صادق وموعود جامع وأن الآخر منا يتبع الأول لوجدنا عليك يا إبراهيم وجدا أشد مما وجدنا وإنا بك يا إبراهيم لمحزونون»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The eye sheds tears and the heart grieves, and we do not say what angers the Lord. Were it not that this is a true promise and a place of gathering, and that the later of us will join the earlier, we would grieve for you, O Ibrahim, far more than we have grieved; and indeed we are grieved by your parting, O Ibrahim."
