«تتركون المدينة على خير ما كانت لا يغشاها إلا العوافي وآخر من يحشر راعيان من مزينة يريدان المدينة ينعقان بغنمهما فيجدانها وحوشا حتى إذا بلغا ثنية الوداع خرا على وجوههما»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"You will leave Madinah in its best condition; only birds and beasts of prey will (come and) dwell in it. And the last to be gathered will be two shepherds from the tribe of Muzaynah who will want to come to Madinah; they will come driving their goats, and they will find them in the form of wild animals. Until, when they reach Thaniyyat al-Wada' (the mountain pass), they will fall on their faces (that is, they will die)."
