Hadith Beginning with the Letter Ta (ت)

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Marry virgins, for they are sweeter of tongue, more fertile of womb, and more content with little."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Marry women who are loving and bear many children, for I will take pride in your great numbers before the other nations."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Marry, for I will take pride in you before the other nations, and do not be like the monasticism of the Christians."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"An orphan girl is to be asked for her permission regarding her marriage; if she remains silent, that is her permission, and if she refuses, there is no compulsion upon her."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Eat the pre-dawn meal (suhur), for there is blessing in the pre-dawn meal."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Eat the pre-dawn meal (suhur), even if it is only with water."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Eat the pre-dawn meal (suhur), even if it is only a sip of water."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Giving the greeting of salam by pointing with one finger is the way of the Jews."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"You will hear hadith, and it will be heard from you, and it will be heard from those who heard it from you."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Name yourselves with my name, but do not take my kunyah."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Name yourselves with my name but do not take my kunyah, for I am Abu al-Qasim; I distribute among you."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Give charity, for a time will come upon you when a man will go about with his charity, and the one to whom he takes it will say: 'Had you brought it yesterday, I would have accepted it, but now I have no need of it.' So he will find no one to accept it."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Give charity, even if it is only a single date, for it relieves the hunger of the hungry and extinguishes sin just as water extinguishes fire."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Spend, and do not hoard your wealth, or else provision will be withheld from you as well."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"A man's voluntary prayer in his home is superior to his voluntary prayer in front of people, just as a man's prayer in congregation is superior to his prayer alone."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Pardon the prescribed punishments (hudud) among yourselves, for whatever prescribed punishment reaches me becomes binding."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Come, pledge allegiance to me on the condition that you will not associate anything with Allah, you will not steal, you will not commit adultery, you will not kill your children, you will not bring forth a slander that you have fabricated between your hands and your feet, and you will not disobey me in anything good. Whoever among you fulfils this, his reward is with Allah; whoever commits any of these and is punished for it in this world, that will be an expiation for him; and whoever commits any of these and Allah conceals it, his matter rests with Allah: if He wills, He will punish him, and if He wills, He will pardon him."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Keep up your commitment to the Qur'an, for by the One in whose Hand is my soul, it escapes from the hearts of men faster than a camel escapes from its tether."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Hasten to perform Hajj, for none of you knows what may befall him."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The deeds of people are presented twice every week: on Monday and on Thursday. Then every believing servant is forgiven, except a servant between whom and his brother there is enmity, and it is said: 'Leave these two until they reconcile.'"

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Deeds are presented on Monday and Thursday, and I love that my deeds be presented while I am fasting."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Trials are presented to hearts the way a mat is woven, reed by reed. Any heart that absorbs them has a black spot put in it, and any heart that rejects them has a white spot put in it, until one heart becomes white like a smooth stone, which no trial will harm as long as the heavens and the earth endure, and the other becomes black and dust-coloured like an overturned jug; it neither recognises any good nor rejects any evil, except what its desires have soaked into it."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Know Allah in times of ease, and He will know you in times of hardship."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"May the slave of the dinar, the slave of the dirham and the slave of the striped cloak perish! If he is given, he is pleased, and if he is not given, he is displeased. May he perish and fall on his face, and if he is pricked by a thorn, may he find no one to remove it. Glad tidings for the servant who holds the rein of his horse in the path of Allah, his hair dishevelled and his feet covered in dust. If he is on guard duty, he stays on guard duty, and if he is in the rear of the army, he stays there. If he asks permission, it is not granted to him, and if he intercedes, his intercession is not accepted."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Know that none of you will see his Lord until he dies."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Learn the Book of Allah, keep up your commitment to it, and recite it in a beautiful voice, for by the One in whose Hand is my soul, it escapes faster than a pregnant she-camel escapes from its tether."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Learn enough of your lineages to maintain your ties of kinship, for maintaining ties of kinship is a cause of love within the family, a means of increase in wealth and a source of blessing in one's lifespan."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Learn from Quraysh and do not teach them; put Quraysh forward and do not hold them back, for a man of Quraysh has the strength of two men from other than Quraysh."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Seek refuge with Allah from a bad neighbour in a place of permanent residence, for a temporary neighbour moves away from you."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Seek refuge with Allah from severe trial, from the depth of misery, from an evil decree and from the gloating of enemies."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"You will fight the Arabian Peninsula and Allah will grant you its conquest, then Persia and Allah will grant you its conquest, then you will fight the Romans and Allah will grant you its conquest, then you will fight the Dajjal and Allah will grant you victory over him."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The gates of Paradise are opened on Monday and on Thursday, and every servant who does not associate anything with Allah is forgiven, except a man between whom and his brother there is enmity, and it is said: 'Wait for these two until they reconcile.'"

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The gates of the heaven are opened at midnight, and a caller calls out: 'Is there anyone supplicating, that he may be answered? Is there anyone asking, that he may be given? Is there anyone in distress, that his distress may be relieved?' So there remains no Muslim who makes a supplication except that Allah Almighty answers him, except an adulteress who earns through her private parts, or a tax collector."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Yemen will be conquered, and some people will come driving their mounts and move away with their families and those who obey them, while Madinah would be better for them if only they knew. And Syria will be conquered, and some people will come driving their mounts and move away with their families and those who obey them, while Madinah would be better for them if only they knew. And Iraq will be conquered, and some people will come driving their mounts and move away with their families and those who obey them, while Madinah would be better for them if only they knew."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Gog and Magog will be released, and they will come out upon the people, as Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, said: 'They will come swarming down from every elevation.' They will overwhelm the people, and the Muslims will withdraw from them into their cities and fortresses, gathering their livestock in with them. They will drink up the waters of the earth, until one of them will pass by a river and drink all that is in it, leaving it dry, so that whoever passes by that river after them will say: 'There used to be water here once.' When none of the people remain except the odd one in a fortress or a city, their leader will say: 'These were the people of the earth, and we have finished with them; now the people of the heaven remain!' Then one of them will brandish his spear and hurl it towards the sky, and it will return to him stained with blood; this will be a trial and a tribulation. While they are in this state, Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, will send worms into their necks like the worms that grow in the necks of locusts, and by morning they will be dead, with not a sound heard from them. The Muslims will say: 'Is there not a man who will sell his life for us and see what this enemy has done?' So a man among them will go out seeking reward, considering himself as good as killed, and he will go down and find them dead, piled one upon another. Then he will call out: 'O Muslims, rejoice! Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, has sufficed you against your enemy.' Then they will come out of their cities and fortresses and let their livestock loose, and there will be no pasture for them except their flesh, and they will grow as fat from it as they ever grew from any vegetation."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Prayer in congregation surpasses the prayer of any of you alone by twenty-five degrees, and the angels of the night and the angels of the day gather at the Fajr prayer."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Reflect upon the blessings of Allah, and do not reflect upon the essence of Allah."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Reflect upon the creation of Allah, and do not reflect upon the essence of Allah."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"You will fight the Jews and prevail over them, until one of them hides behind a stone and the stone says: 'O servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, so kill him.'"

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Guarantee me six things and I will guarantee you Paradise: when any of you speaks, let him not lie; when he makes a promise, let him not break it; when he is entrusted with something, let him not betray the trust; lower your gazes, restrain your hands and guard your private parts."
