I said: "Yes, may my father and mother be sacrificed for you. The poet said: 'Raise up your weak one in such a way that his weakness does not harm you one day, and that the consequences reach him when he has grown. He will repay you or praise you, and whoever praises you for what you did is like one who has repaid you. When you seek a bond with a noble person, you will not find his rope worn out, with weak strands.'" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Aishah, on the Day of Resurrection, when Allah Almighty gathers the creation, He will ask one of His servants to whom one of Allah's servants had done some good: 'Were you grateful to him?' That person will reply: 'O my Lord, I knew that this good was from You, so I thanked You for it.' Allah Almighty will say: 'You have not thanked Me, since you were not grateful to the one through whom I granted you that good.'"
