Thanking a favour and recompensing the one who did it

عَنِ الْأَشْعَثِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنَّ أَشْكَرَ النَّاسِ لِلَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى أَشْكَرُهُمْ لِلنَّاسِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ash'ath bin Qays (may Allah be pleased with him): the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The person most grateful to Allah Almighty is the one who is most grateful to people."
