Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 13632

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When one of you goes to his Muslim brother and that other person gives him food, then the first person should eat from that food and should not ask about it; and when that other person gives him a drink, he should drink that drink as well and should not ask about it."
Ahmad and Abu Ya'la recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Muslim bin Khalid al-Zanji, whom Ibn Ma'in and others declared thiqah (trustworthy), while Ahmad and others declared him da'if (weak). The remaining narrators of both are the narrators of the Sahih.
