Majma al-Zawaid 13637 — Thanking a favour and recompensing the one

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Usamah bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him): the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one who thanks Allah Almighty the most is the person who is most grateful to people."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Abd al-Mun'im bin Nu'aym, who is da'if (weak).
