بَابُ شُكْرِ الْمَعْرُوفِ وَمُكَافَأَةِ فَاعِلِهِ
Thanking a favour and recompensing the one who did it

وَعَنْ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنْ لَمْ يَشْكُرْ لِلنَّاسِ لَمْ يَشْكُرْ لِلَّهِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him): the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever is not grateful to people has not thanked Allah Almighty either."
