Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Isma'il bin Amr al-Bajali and Mindal bin Ali; both were declared trustworthy, while a group declared them both da'if (weak). The rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Ja'far (son of Sayyiduna Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with him), who is Dhu al-Janahayn, i.e. the one with two wings), that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sneezed, he would praise Allah. It would be said to him: "May Allah Almighty have mercy on you," and he would say: "May Allah Almighty keep you firm upon guidance and set your affairs right."
Ahmad and al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Ibn Lahi'ah, who is hasan al-hadith (fair in hadith) despite some weakness in him. The rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "May Allah Almighty keep you firm upon guidance and set your affairs right."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Asbat bin Azrah, and I do not know him. The rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Say: Alhamdulillah (All praise is for Allah)." The people asked: "O Messenger of Allah, what should we say to him?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Say to him: May Allah Almighty have mercy on you." That man asked: "O Messenger of Allah, then what should I say to them?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Say to them: May Allah Almighty keep you firm upon guidance and set your affairs right."
Ahmad and Abu Ya'la recorded it; its chain contains Abu Ma'shar Najih, who is weak in hadith. The rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to teach us that when someone sneezes, he should say: 'Alhamdulillahi Rabbil-'alamin' (All praise is for Allah, the Lord of the worlds), and the one with him should say: 'Yarhamuk Allah' (May Allah have mercy on you). When that person has said this, (the one who sneezed) should say: "May Allah Almighty forgive me and you."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Ata' bin al-Sa'ib, whose memory had become confused (ikhtilat).

And when the servant also adds 'Rabbil-'alamin', the angels say: 'May Allah Almighty have mercy on you.'"
