وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ ذِي الْجَنَاحَيْنِ :
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - كَانَ إِذَا عَطَسَ حَمَدَ اللَّهَ ، فَيُقَالُ : يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ ، فَيَقُولُ : " يَهْدِيكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيُصْلِحُ بَالَكُمْ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، وَهُوَ حَسَنُ الْحَدِيثِ عَلَى ضَعْفٍ فِيهِ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Ja'far (son of Sayyiduna Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with him), who is Dhu al-Janahayn, i.e. the one with two wings), that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sneezed, he would praise Allah. It would be said to him: "May Allah Almighty have mercy on you," and he would say: "May Allah Almighty keep you firm upon guidance and set your affairs right."
Ahmad and al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Ibn Lahi'ah, who is hasan al-hadith (fair in hadith) despite some weakness in him. The rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
