بَابٌ فِي مَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ حَقِّهِ وَأَهْلِهِ وَمَالِهِ

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ :
" مَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ مَظْلَمَتِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
" مَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ مَظْلَمَتِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ " .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever is killed on account of injustice (done to him) is a martyr."

وَعَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ حَفْصٍ قَالَ : قَالَ سَعْدُ بْنُ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ : إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ :

Abu Bakr bin Hafs narrates: Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "An excellent death is that a man dies (while defending) his right."

وَعَنْ حُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - :
" مَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ مَالِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ " .

وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ :

وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ كُرَيْزٍ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ :
" مَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ مَالِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ " .
رَوَاهُ عَنْهُمَا الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرَوَاهُ فِي الْكَبِيرِ عَنِ ابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ وَحْدَهُ ، وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both) and Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amir bin Kurayz (may Allah be pleased with him) narrate that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever is killed defending his wealth is a martyr."
Al-Tabarani recorded it from both of them in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. In al-Mu'jam al-Kabir he recorded it from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) alone. Al-Bazzar recorded it likewise. Its chain contains Abdullah bin Mus'ab al-Zubayri, who is da'if (weak).

وَعَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - :
" مَنْ ظَلَمَ شِبْرًا مِنَ الْأَرْضِ طُوِّقَهُ مِنْ سَبْعِ أَرَضِينَ ، وَمَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ مَالِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ قَزَعَةُ بْنُ سُوَيْدٍ ، وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ مَعِينٍ فِي رِوَايَةٍ ، وَابْنُ عَدِيٍّ وَضَعَّفَهُ الْجُمْهُورُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna Shaddad bin Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever wrongfully takes a hand-span of land will be made to wear it as a collar from seven earths; and whoever is killed defending his wealth is a martyr."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Qaza'ah bin Suwayd; according to one report Yahya bin Ma'in, and also Ibn Adi, declared him thiqah (trustworthy), while the majority declared him da'if (weak). The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).

وَعَنْ قُهَيْدِ بْنِ مُطَرِّفٍ الْغِفَارِيِّ :
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - سَأَلَهُ سَائِلٌ : إِنْ عَدَا عَلَيَّ عَادٍ ؟ فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَنْهَاهُ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ ، قَالَ : فَإِنْ أَبَى ؟ فَأَمَرَهُ بِقِتَالِهِ ، قَالَ : فَكَيْفَ بِنَا ؟ قَالَ : " إِنْ قَتَلَكَ فَأَنْتَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ ، وَإِنَّ قَتَلْتَهُ فَهُوَ فِي النَّارِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ وَالْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُمْ ثِقَاتٌ .
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - سَأَلَهُ سَائِلٌ : إِنْ عَدَا عَلَيَّ عَادٍ ؟ فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَنْهَاهُ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ ، قَالَ : فَإِنْ أَبَى ؟ فَأَمَرَهُ بِقِتَالِهِ ، قَالَ : فَكَيْفَ بِنَا ؟ قَالَ : " إِنْ قَتَلَكَ فَأَنْتَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ ، وَإِنَّ قَتَلْتَهُ فَهُوَ فِي النَّارِ " .

Sayyiduna Quhayd bin Mutarrif al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "What if an aggressor transgresses against me?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded him to warn him off three times. He said: "What if he refuses?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded him to fight him. The man asked: "Then what will become of us?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If he kills you, you will be in Paradise, and if you kill him, he will be in the Fire."
