Book of Fighting the Rebels
بَابٌ فِي مَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ حَقِّهِ وَأَهْلِهِ وَمَالِهِ
One who is killed defending his right, his family and his property
Majma al-Zawaid 10463 — One who is killed defending his right
وَعَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - :
" مَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ مَالِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ ، وَالْبَزَّارُ ، وَإِسْنَادُ الطَّبَرَانِيِّ جَيِّدٌ .
" مَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ مَالِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ ، وَالْبَزَّارُ ، وَإِسْنَادُ الطَّبَرَانِيِّ جَيِّدٌ .
Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever is killed while defending his wealth is a martyr."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir, and al-Bazzar recorded it. The chain of al-Tabarani is jayyid (good).
