Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered me to announce during the days of Mina that these are days of eating and drinking, and there is no fasting in them. (The narrator says:) He meant the days of Tashriq.

He said: "I am fasting." Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "Do you not know that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'These are days of eating and remembrance (of Allah)'?"
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.

Abdullah bin Ahmad and al-Bazzar recorded it. He (al-Bazzar) said: It is not known that Yunus narrated with a chain any hadith other than this one. Its chain contains a narrator, Sa'id bin Bashir, who is thiqah (trustworthy), but he suffered from confusion (ikhtilat) in his memory.

Hubaybah bint Shariq narrates that she was with her father, and Budayl bin Warqa' was upon al-Adba', the she-camel of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), saddling it. He called out: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has said: "Whoever is fasting should break his fast, for these are days of eating and drinking."
Imam Ahmad recorded it, and Imam al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, though he recorded these words: "She was with her mother, al-Ajma'." In Imam Ahmad's chain there is a narrator who is not named.

Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Sa'id bin Maslamah, whom Imam al-Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and a group declared da'if (weak). Ibn Hibban declared him thiqah (trustworthy) and stated that he makes mistakes.

Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Abdullah bin Umar bin Yazid al-Asbahani; I have not come across anyone who has given his biography. The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).

(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: The hadith reported from Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) is in the Sahih.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Hajjaj bin Nusayr, whom Ibn Hibban declared thiqah (trustworthy), saying: He makes mistakes. A group declared him da'if (weak).
