Majma al-Zawaid 5245 — Days on which fasting is forbidden, such

Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The Days of Tashriq are days of eating and drinking."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Abdullah bin Umar bin Yazid al-Asbahani; I have not come across anyone who has given his biography. The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
