Hadith Beginning with the Letter 'Ayn (ع)

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The prayer of a runaway slave is not accepted until he returns to his masters."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The 'atirah is a right."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"What is strange is that some people of my Ummah will head for the House (the Ka'bah) after a man from Quraysh who will have sought refuge in the House, until, when they reach the plain of al-Bayda', they will be swallowed up by the earth. Among them will be one who came knowingly, one who was brought by force, and the wayfarer; they will all perish in a single destruction, but they will depart to different destinations, and Allah will raise them according to their intentions."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"An injury caused by an animal carries no liability, a well carries no liability, a mine carries no liability, and on buried treasure (rikaz) there is one-fifth."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

"The Ajwah date is from Paradise, and in it is a cure for poison; and the truffle is from the manna, and its water is a cure for the eye."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The Ajwah date is from Paradise, and in it is a cure for poison; and the truffle is from the manna, and its water is a cure for the eye."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Leadership: its beginning is blame, its end is regret, and then punishment on the Day of Resurrection."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"'Usaylah means sexual intercourse."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Sneezing is from Allah and yawning is from Satan. So when one of you yawns, let him place his hand over his mouth, for if he says 'aah, aah', Satan laughs from inside his belly. And indeed Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, loves sneezing and dislikes yawning."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Blood money is the responsibility of the paternal male relatives ('asabah), and for a stillborn fetus the compensation is a male or female slave."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The aqiqah is slaughtered on the seventh, fourteenth or twenty-first day."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The aqiqah is a right: for a boy, two goats of equal age, and for a girl, one goat."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"In deliberate killing there is retaliation (qisas), and in accidental killing there is blood money."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"One Umrah to the next is an expiation for the sins and wrongdoings committed between them, and an accepted Hajj (Hajj mabrur) has no reward except Paradise."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"One Umrah to the next is an expiation for the sins committed between them, and an accepted Hajj (Hajj mabrur) has no reward except Paradise."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The 'umra (a lifetime grant) is valid for those to whom it is given."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The 'umra (a lifetime grant) is valid for those to whom it is given, and the ruqba is likewise valid for those to whom it is given."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The 'umra is valid for the one to whom it is granted, and the ruqba is valid for the one to whom it is granted; and the one who takes back his gift is like one who takes back his own vomit."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The 'umra belongs to the one to whom it has been given."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The 'umra is an inheritance for those to whom it is given."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The paternal uncle is like a father."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The covenant between us and them is the prayer; so whoever abandons it has committed disbelief."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The evil eye brings a man to the grave and brings a camel to the cooking pot."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The evil eye is real."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The evil eye is real; it brings a person down from a height."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The evil eye is real, and if anything could outstrip destiny, the evil eye would outstrip it. And when you are asked to wash, then wash."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The eye is the drawstring of the buttocks, so when the eye sleeps, the drawstring is loosened."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The eye is the drawstring of the buttocks, so whoever sleeps should perform ablution (wudu)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The two eyes commit adultery, the two hands commit adultery, the two feet commit adultery, and the private part commits adultery."
