«العجب أن ناسا من أمتي يؤمون البيت لرجل من قريش قد لجأ بالبيت حتى إذا كانوا بالبيداء خسف بهم فيهم المستبصر والمجبور وابن السبيل يهلكون مهلكا واحدا ويصدرون مصادر شتى يبعثهم الله على نياتهم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"What is strange is that some people of my Ummah will head for the House (the Ka'bah) after a man from Quraysh who will have sought refuge in the House, until, when they reach the plain of al-Bayda', they will be swallowed up by the earth. Among them will be one who came knowingly, one who was brought by force, and the wayfarer; they will all perish in a single destruction, but they will depart to different destinations, and Allah will raise them according to their intentions."
