Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There will be rulers around whom people of every sort will gather; they will lie and they will oppress. Whoever goes to them, affirms their lies and helps them in their oppression has nothing to do with me, and I have nothing to do with him. And whoever does not go to them, does not affirm their lies and does not help them in their oppression is connected to me, and I am connected to him."
Ahmad recorded it, and Abu Ya'la recorded something similar and added the words: "I will be free of him, and he will be free of me." Its chain contains a narrator, Sulayman bin Abi Sulayman al-Qurashi, whom I do not know; the rest of the narrators of this report are the narrators of the Sahih.

Hadith Takhrij«اخرجه أبو يعلى فى المسند (1187 و 1286) اخرجه احمد فى المسند (24/3) ، أخرجه مسند أحمد برقم: 10808»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "After me, rulers will soon come over you who will command you to do what they themselves do not do. Whoever affirms their lies and helps them in their oppression has nothing to do with me, and I have nothing to do with him, and he will not be able to come to me at the Pond (Hawd)."
Ahmad and al-Bazzar recorded it, except that his wording is: "Once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out, and there were nine people in the mosque at the time, four of them from the mawali (freed slaves) and five from the Arabs. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Soon rulers will come over you; whoever helps them in their oppression, affirms their lies and frequents their doors has nothing to do with me, and I have nothing to do with him, and he will not be able to come to me at the Pond. And whoever does not help them in their oppression and does not affirm their lies is connected to me, and I am connected to him, and he will soon come to me at the Pond.'" The chain of this report contains a narrator, Ibrahim bin Qu'ays, whom Abu Hatim declared da'if (weak) and Ibn Hibban declared thiqah (trustworthy); the rest of the narrators of this report are the narrators of the Sahih.

Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him): "May Allah Almighty protect you from the rule of fools!" He asked: "What is meant by the rule of fools?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Rulers who will come after me; they will not follow my guidance and will not follow my Sunnah. Whoever affirms their lies and helps them in their oppression, such people have nothing to do with me, and I have nothing to do with them, and they will not come to my Pond. And whoever does not affirm their lies and does not help them in their oppression, such people are connected to me, and I am connected to them, and they will soon come to my Pond." "O Ka'b bin Ujrah! Fasting is a shield, charity extinguishes sin, and prayer is a means of attaining nearness (the narrator is in doubt, or perhaps the wording is:) is a proof. O Ka'b bin Ujrah! People are in one of two states: one buys himself and sets himself free, and another sells himself and brings himself to ruin."
Ahmad and al-Bazzar recorded it, and he added the words: "Flesh that has grown from the unlawful will not enter Paradise; the Fire is more deserving of it." The narrators of both of them are the narrators of the Sahih.

Sayyiduna al-Nu'man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out to us while we were in the mosque after the Isha prayer. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) raised his gaze towards the sky and then lowered it, so that we thought something might have happened in the sky. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Soon after me there will be rulers who will oppress and lie. Whoever affirms their lies and helps them in their oppression has nothing to do with me, and I have nothing to do with him. And whoever does not affirm their lies and does not side with them in their oppression is connected to me, and I am connected to him. Beware! The blood of a Muslim is an expiation. Beware! Saying Subhan Allah, al-hamdu lillah, la ilaha illallah and Allahu akbar: these are the enduring good deeds." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: From this Companion there is another hadith about the enduring good deeds, besides this narration, and Ibn Majah recorded it.
Ahmad recorded it; its chain contains a narrator who is not named, and the rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.

We said: "We are listening." This exchange took place two or perhaps three times. Then he said: "Soon rulers will come over you; do not affirm their lies and do not help them in their oppression, for whoever affirms their lies and helps them in their oppression will not come to me at the Pond."
