بَابٌ فِيمَنْ يُصَدِّقُ الْأُمَرَاءَ بِكَذِبِهِمْ وَيُعِينُهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ .
One who affirms the lies of rulers and helps them in their oppression

وَعَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ - عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " إِنَّهُ سَيَكُونُ عَلَيْكُمْ أُمَرَاءُ يَظْلِمُونَ وَيَكْذِبُونَ فَمَنْ صَدَّقَهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ وَأَعَانَهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ فَلَيْسَ مِنِّي وَلَسْتُ مِنْهُ وَلَا يَرِدُ عَلَيَّ الْحَوْضَ ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يُصَدِّقْهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ وَلَمْ يُعْنِهُمْ فَهُوَ مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْهُ وَسَيَرِدُ عَلَيَّ الْحَوْضَ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالْبَزَّارُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَأَحَدُ أَسَانِيدِ الْبَزَّارِ رِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ، وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ كَذَلِكَ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالْبَزَّارُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَأَحَدُ أَسَانِيدِ الْبَزَّارِ رِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ، وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ كَذَلِكَ .
Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Soon rulers will come over you who will oppress you and lie. Whoever affirms their lies and helps them in their oppression has nothing to do with me, and I have nothing to do with him, and that person will not come to me at the Pond. And whoever does not affirm their lies and does not help them (in oppression) is connected to me, and I am connected to him, and he will soon come to me at the Pond." Ahmad, al-Bazzar, and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat recorded it; of the chains of al-Bazzar, the narrators of one are the narrators of the Sahih, and the same is true of the narrators of Ahmad.
