Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A Bedouin told me that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "I fear for Quraysh only from themselves." I asked: "What will happen to them?" He said: "They will be miserly and big-bellied (that is, they will hoard wealth). If your life is long, you will see them putting people to trial, until the people will appear among them like a goat between two watering troughs, going sometimes this way and sometimes that way."
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Bilal bin Yahya al-Absi, who is thiqah (trustworthy). This report has another, longer route, which will come in the chapter on the "Khasa'is" (special merits).

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "They will be miserly and big-bellied (that is, they will hoard wealth). If your life is long, you will see them putting other people to trial, until (other) people will appear among them (Quraysh) like a goat between two watering troughs, going sometimes this way and sometimes that way."
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
