عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي أَعْرَابِيٌّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " مَا أَخَافُ عَلَى قُرَيْشٍ إِلَّا أَنْفُسَهَا " . قُلْتُ : مَا لَهُمْ ؟ قَالَ : " أَشِحَّةٌ بَجَرَةٌ ، وَإِنْ طَالَ بِكَ عُمُرٌ لَتَنْظُرَنَّ إِلَيْهِمْ يَفْتِنُونَ النَّاسَ ، حَتَّى يُرَى النَّاسُ بَيْنَهُمْ كَالْغَنَمِ بَيْنَ الْحَوْضَيْنِ إِلَى هَذَا مَرَّةً وَإِلَى هَذَا مَرَّةً " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ خَلَا بِلَالَ بْنَ يَحْيَى الْعَبْسِيَّ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .
وَلَهُ طَرِيقٌ طَوِيلَةٌ فِي الْخَصَائِصِ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ خَلَا بِلَالَ بْنَ يَحْيَى الْعَبْسِيَّ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .
وَلَهُ طَرِيقٌ طَوِيلَةٌ فِي الْخَصَائِصِ .
Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A Bedouin told me that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "I fear for Quraysh only from themselves." I asked: "What will happen to them?" He said: "They will be miserly and big-bellied (that is, they will hoard wealth). If your life is long, you will see them putting people to trial, until the people will appear among them like a goat between two watering troughs, going sometimes this way and sometimes that way."
